Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon

We'd like to go to a water park during our stay next month, but not sure which one. Besides DH and myself (40somethings!) we have two DDs-age 8 & 10. Neither girl is particularly a thrill seeker, but the 10 y/o REALLY isn't into major 'thrill rides'. From reviewing the WDW web page, it kind of sounds like Typhoon Lagoon might be better, but I like the theming at Blizzard Beach better! Anyone have any advise for me?

I would go with Typhoon, we have been to Blizzard only once, and Typhoon 4+ times. There is a lot more stuff to do there and the rides are a bit less extreme.

We prefer TL. The kids love the wave pool and we spend most of our time there. There is a family raft ride we did this past trip and it was fun!

TL is always my number one choice. The wave pool is way better. The theming is tropical and laid back - kind of "beachy". I just get a warm fuzzy feeling there, where at BB, it seems kind of sparse and cold (no pun intended).

TL has some great slides (Storm Slides), that aren't real crazy, but are alot of fun. They also play fun beach music there.
