Blizzard Beach- Morning vs afternoon

We will be there on Thursday 7/27-trying to decide when to go- we have ADR at 7:10 at Sci-Fi so we planned to either go at 8a.m. and leave b/f lunch or go around 2-3 and leave around 6;00- we are staying at Beach Club so we'll just hurry for ADR- this would be our only morning to get to MGM early so i'm leaning towards this option and doing BB in afternoon!!

If you don't get to BB early in the morning, you may not be able to get in for the rest of the day. There is a limit to how many people it will hold.

I've read that but don't they count the people who leave early!!

If it closes due to capacity they don't do a one by one kind of a thing. (one out, one in) Typically if it closes around 11-12 they reopen around 2 PM.

I was there last year during the same week. Going in the morning we had virtually no waits for any slides. As the morning progressed we started having to wait longer. The lines for the most part were so short though, that by 11:00 am we were basically done, and we left. We played golf, and then went back to our resort (also BC) for lunch.

We went last Monday and took advantage of the EMH. Due to a bus issue, we arrived at 8:20 instead of about 7:50 like we had planned. However, we were able to do ALL the rides on the mountain (my DH and one bro opted for more rides than to go in the wave pool), plus the lazy river, plus spend about 20 min. in the wave pool by 10:45. It was awesome! By 11:15 we were STARVING so we ate a leisurely lunch and then left about 12:15. It was a perfect morning! We got cleaned up and went back to MGM about 3:30.

DH and I went early morning in May and had no waits at all for every ride....as we were leaving around 1:30, the lines were NUTS!! I say go early - have fun!

thanks - we'll go early and figure out how to get on TOT and RNR- i forgot we'll have Saturday morning also!!
