Has anyone gone to any of the Disney waterparks in January??? We will be there in just over a week and the web/guidebooks all say that Blizzard Beach is open daily.... Is the water heated??? Is this a miserable experience if it is say 60 degrees??? Trying to decide how to use my plus pass.
Thanks!

We're from New England so that colors our answer. If it's in the 70's we enjoy the water parks. The water is heated, but there are several features that drip, spray, or fall cold water on you in Cross Country Creek, and even on Teamboat Springs, the family raft ride. We have a great time whenever we go, trying to choose one of the warmest days for our waterpark day.

We too will be there next week (20-27). I've heard that if the air temp is below 70 F. They close Blizzard Beach. We've got 2 "free" days so hoping to go on one of those days. We're from Michigan so 70's is A-OK for us. Maybe we'll see you there.

we just came back from our trip and Blizzard Beach was fantastic!!! Actually it was my husband and teens favorite park. The water was cold first thing in the morning, but by mid morning it warmed up nicely. They all wore bathing suits with t-shirt and shorts. Not because of the cold, because they went on the water slides and didn't like their bathing suits 'moving around' certain areas. LOL I wish we could have gone to the other water park. We didn't realize it would be closed for January.
