Blizzard Beach for younger kids?

we are going the last week of August. we as in me, DH, DD16, DS14, DD4, & DS2 My older kids are all excited about BB but I am not so sure there will be enough for the younger ones to do. Can they go on the family rafts with us? Is there a toddler section? Would Typhoon Lagoon be a better option for us as it seems it doesn't have as many slides?

How far is BB from all star Music? one of my thoughts was when we go back to the hotel for a midday break and nap, I would let the older ones with dh go to the water park for a couple of hours. Woiuld that be doable?

I can't remember whether or not the little ones can ride the large raft - my guess is that the 4yr but maybe not the 2yr? When we went, DS was 4yr (although he is a BIG 4yr) and he rode it down several times with us.
I like BB, there is a separate toddlers play area (think far back, to the right) that also has some nice shaded areas with tables under cover. You'll have to get there early in the day for those spots! But the toddler area has those gusher spays from the floor, a couple tiny slides, things like that. Our problem was he DS saw the big slides and wanted to do those (but couldn't because of height restrictions). We're going this May with the same DS (now 6yr) and his little brother (he's 3yr) and we're going to BB.
Both are fun, I just like the theming at BB alittle better --anyone know more about TL??

My favorite thing to do at both water parks are the family raft rides. I would check in the guide books or online for height restrictions before you go. I think that best thing from both water parks is the tide pool at TL though. I think that there may be a little more for little ones to do at TL, but they are probably about the same. Have fun either way!
