Blizzard Beach Do Over - "The Bestest Day Ever!!!! HORRAY FOR HOLLYWOOD! NEW 06/12 Pg 19 and 20

Just checking in for updates. I see that you have been in the same situation as me this summer - finding it impossible to update. Looking forward to you coming back to update in the future. Hope your summer has been good.

#2 is the answer for many of life's bothers.
Once you've sat for a while and pondered, things seem clearer.
Plus you feel lighter.
:rotfl2::rotfl2: How true that is! Our family joke is that everything is about #2! They always tease me that whenever anyone has a problem, I ask if they need to go. :rotfl:

Hi Lady! It was been crazy! Now on top of all the projects going on at work right now, we were rear ended at a stop light on Wed, so lost a little time to just being wiped out, and then a sleepover for the grands. I'm fine - just a little sore, but Jim has some nasty whiplash going on so there will be that. Can't get my car estimate until Aug 21st. So many accidents they are backed up that far.

I did get an update written tonight - and I gave you a shoutout! We'll see if PB will cooperate so I can post it. Thanks for checking in!

My DW's late father used to always tell her to sit on the pot when she was being cranky.

:rotfl:I'm cranky because my laptop froze up while posting an update the other night so I had to give up I don't think it saved... soon....

Ugh. That's the worst.
I mean us having to wait of course.

Too bad about your laptop freezing and losing the update, too.

:rolleyes1

Ugh! So sorry, Tammie! That really stinks! :( Hopefully, it's not a difficult fix and you can easily recall what you'd written.

I have to say I honestly don't even know what has kept me away so much lately. We've had some drama with a small fender bender and a nasty injury to Lindsay's toe, we have been a little busy and a lot tired. So there are my excuses.

Now back to the Birthday Bash!!!

Today was the day! We had booked this trip so that Mason could celebrate his 8th birthday at Disney World. We asked him which park he wanted to be at on his birthday, and his choice was ANIMAL KINGDOM of course! (Makes a grandma proud ) He said he wanted to ride Expedition Everest 4 TIMES!!! Would he accomplish it? Tune in to see.

We had a great plan for today – we wanted to see some never seens, and we were hoping for a little child swap PD! Our plan was:

Rope Drop = 9:00 am

1 9am - Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain

2 9:11 Expedition Everest – FP+

3 9:37 - Kali River Rapids

4 9:56 Maharajah Jungle Trek

5 10:323 - The Boneyard

6 11:00 - DINOSAUR –FP+

7 11:20 Lunch - Flame Tree Barbecue

8 11: 56- Finding Nemo The Musical

9 12:47 - Festival of the Lion King

10 1:30 - Kilimanjaro Safaris – FP+

11 2:30 - Flights of Wonder

How did we do?

Well, we were off to a great start by getting a wake up call at 7am from a very caring blow up doll – I mean robot.
We grabbed our “gramurder” bars (as Mason prounounced granola until about a year ago.)

And out the door to the bus. We waited for 3 buses, and then we were on our way! We had only one stop inside the resort, and then a stop at TL to drop off some swimmers. We were the only ones headed to AK – private ride – that’s how we roll! (or maybe someone forgot their deodorant?) Soon we were greeted by

We did make RD

We stopped to see this lady –

She was trying to come out of the gate area, and had to stop when she saw us. Good Morning!

And headed right over to EE!!! Papa and Evan got to sit this one out. (Ride #1 for Mason)

Looks like Gramma and Evan sat the 2nd one out.

We had a child swap to use later, so after taking some PP pics, we headed off to KRR

I think someone was asking how wet they would get - wish I had an after pic (actually looking at this again, I think this might be the first "after" pic - they look a little damp, so maybe they are discussing how wet they got!)

. We all got totally soaked! Since we were wet, and it was a walk on – we ran through again. When we came out the second time, dripping wet, we got some dubious looks from some ladies heading onto the ride – I think they almost turned back when they saw how wet were.

Internet is acting wonky, so I will pause here for now....

Just started reading, but what a beautiful family story. Off to read the rest of the report.

Nice start to the morning, Tammie! :) And yes, if you're already wet... might as well keep going, right?! I've never gotten to catch DeVine- sure hoping to next time around.

Nice start to the day. I see he has hit 2 rides already. Dripping coming off Kali - you always get the looks from people in line...:rotfl2:

I can't see some of your pictures, but great pick for your birthday park, Mason. Brave grandchild going on that awful EE:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Yes, the kids definitely look wet in those photos from KRR.

Yep, if you're wet, you might as well get wetter!
I hope you do get to see her. I think I may have walked past her a time or two and then I learned about her on the DIS and noticed her more often! :flower:

Yep, the count is two so far.... It was funny to see how worried they were! :rotfl2: We dried off really fast, too!

Sorry you can't see the pics... he was pretty brave! Of course the parents have a little something to do with that.
I know your house sold. Are you moving out now, or renting from your buyer - I'm confused! :faint: How is it all going?

BIRTHDAY BASH!! (cont)
We headed off to find some tigers on the Maharaja….

Some friends along the way

I love all of the photo ops and artistic shots you can get in here.. just wish I was better at it, like MEK.

I tried.

Oh! a tiger!

Camera shy much?

There you are!

more artsy attempts

I finally remembered to catch the hidden Mickey! (which you will see next post, since apparently my internet is wind-up!)

Oops couldn't tell it was actually posting the above....
