Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon with Young Children

Sorry to hijack thread. Have been looking at water park rides on YouTube and i am not sure that my 4 year old daughter, despite being tall enough, would be able to go on the tube rides. They look quite fast and I saw Tim Tracker flipping the tube over at the end. Are they as fast as they look and do they have double tubes so an adult can go with her?

This has been a really helpful thread!

We are going for 10 days this September with FD. Since we are forced to buy hoppers, I thought I’d check into the water parks option and getting 7 day tickets, instead of9 day hoppers. It works out to be about the same, so considering adding on the water park tickets!

If going by myself with three kids (ages 5, 8, 11) is it doable? My 5 yo is not a swimmer, and honestly, I’m not comfortable letting my 8 yo off without me....

Sure, it's doable. It's just a matter of what you are and aren't comfortable with. You can go to BB and let them play in Ski Patrol, but the 11 year old will be at the upper age for it and may be a bit bored. You can do family tube slide (Teamboat Springs), lazy river and some other slides. Same for TL.
