Hi everyone. Anyone else experiencing the blizzard right now? I live in Massachusetts, have 18 - 24 inches of snow outside right now with more still coming, snow drifts have the doors blocked and to top it off it's only 11 degrees right now! God I wish I was in Disney right now!!! :sunny:
I'm sure my fellow New Englander's are feeling the same.

I am with you on this one!! DH thinks it's awesome................I say NO.........BWV and OKW here we come............but not soon enough!!

We have about 20 inches here with snow drifts at least 36". Shovelling isn't so bad as it is light...................need to shovel a path for my football party!!

Go Pats!!

I'm in Mass, too. I hate the snow, especially when I'm the one to has to shovel it. And, unfortunatley, my work doesn't close, I work in a 24/7 place and I'm expected to be there in about an hour.
I really, really wish I was at Disney right now!
I hope no one from our area was supposed to be leaving today, cause Logan is shut down!
Stay warm, everyone!
:flower1:

It looks like we got off easy here in southern Maine...only about 14 inches, I haven't seen an official total yet. I'm glad I did not have travel plans for this weekend ;)

The snow's about waist deep here on the cape with some drifts over 6feet. I've got a lot of shoveling to do......

30"snow, driveway 10' X 24' =

We got just over a foot here west of Detroit. I have been on the DIS all weekend just so I could look at my countdown clock!

My DH woke up with a stomach bug and here in the suburbs of Philadelphia we got about 14", how convenient for him. We did shovel last night, it helped but the wind is so strong it blew some back on the driveway.

I have to go back out and I do not want to.

GO EAGLES!!!

TwoTooHappy, I know that the Cape got slammed! I'm in Framingham (just west of Boston) so I'm in the "heavey zone" but you guys on the Cape have it worse. The good thing is is that it's Sunday. Football Sunday!! If I can't be in Disney right now at least I have football and Beer! Go Patriot's :cheer2:

I just wish it would stop! Not that I want to shovel 3 & 4 foot drifts, but I'd rather do it in the daylight. There was a 3 foot drift blocking in my door that I had a rough time moving this morning. My driveway is way too big, even just shoveling the bare minimum will take us all day. It's too far off the street. Bummer! Boy do I wish I was in Disney!!!
Stay warm and safe everyone!
Kim, buried in snow in Quincy!

I've never seen this much snow before. It's halfway up my windows and I can't open the doors. I'll likely have to climb out some window somewhere once it subsides.

On a positive note, I have a friend from work who was able to fly from Logan to WDW yesterday. Yay! I'm so glad they got out. There's nothing like WDW.

It looks like the snow is finally moving off of Long Island, where we have about 14 inches in our backyard. We are supposed to go to OKW tomorrow. Thank goodness not today, as all Song flights to Orlando have been cancelled. I printed out our boarding passes for tomorrow and then DH called the car service to reconfirm our pickup at 5 a.m. tomorrow for the trip to JFK. Their response? "Well, we don't know....all our cars are ploughed in!!! We'll call you back later this afternoon and let you know." Thank God, DH works with the local funeral directors. One of them is hooking us up with the limo company they use -- and he said if the limo company can't take us, he'll drive us himself!!!! Heck, I'll lie down in the back of the hearse if it means I can get to WDW tomorrow!!

I am on Cape Cod too. I have no idea how much snow is out there. I went and shoveled off my porch and front steps and there is a ton!

My hubby gave me the ok to fly to disney for the weekend to get away from the storm. I could have flown into Tampa yesterday morning for $69! I couldn't find anyone to go with me and I chickened out going alone with my 4 year old. I wish now that I had gone!!

The sun is out here but it's still very windy. Maybe I'll have off tomorrow (I work in a school), I wish I was in Disney!!!

We escaped the heavy snow. They were calling for 8 to 12 inches but we got about 5-6 inches. Almost a non-event!

Hello all - all dug out now, but the wind is blowing like crazy, probably will go out again before the day is over.
The snowblower is the best money we ever spent, other than DVC, of course!

Be careful everyone.
