I budgeted $300 for a quick 4 days in WDW for DH, 4 yr old and myself. Wound up spending $500 for food alone, and probably another $75 on souveniers.

My plan was to have only one character Breakfast (we wound up with two: PSB and Crystal Palace); and eat lunch and dinner offsite in places such as I-Hop and Golden Corral (we wound up with a dinner at Boma and one at Akershus and a lunch at Kona cafe). We did have one breakfast at Perkins and one lunch at Unos in the Crossroads shopping center.

Thank you all so much for your wonderful advice. I'm sorry that I could not make use of much it, but my DH is used to doing everything 1st class and cannot understand that this was supposed to be a budget trip.

I'm going at the end of the month to the beach with my sister and our kids and we'll do 2 days at Disney. I will use all your great advice then.

BTW, we had an absolute blast. DH did Mission Space 5X and can't wait to go back and do it again. He's hooked.

Did your 4yo do mission space? I have 6yo twin boys and was wondering if it would be too intense for them.

Thanks!

PS, glad you at least had a good time!

No. Mission Space has a 44" minimum and my daughter is only 40" I also did not go on it since I get a little queezy on the teacups. My husband, however, only felt dizzy after he did the ride 3X in a row and even then he said it was not that bad. So if your twins are over the ride minimum I would say go for it.
Also, I would not try to fudge the height requirement on this ride (I did this on TT and BTMRR and Star tours and Body Wars for my DD before she was 40" with very high platform sandals) because you need to keep your head back against the headrest at a certain angle or you will get dizzy and the height is calculated.

I don't actually know their height (bad mommy!) but I am pretty sure they are tall enough but I don't think that I will let them go on, I am trying to convince them to go on splash mountain for the first time this October! I told them they better toughen up, lol.

I get quesy too, however, my curiosity always gets the better of me and I will probably go on, still haven't made up my mind yet. I was brave enough to go on RnR and LOVED it! I am now addicted to this ride and ToT too! I am quite the chicken I must say.

Thanks for the info!
