Blast?

Does anyone know if Blast is coming back to EPCOT this summer? My 2 DS's (both drummers) saw it last night in Birmingham and said it's amazing! They really want to see it again, and I'd love to see it too, but I haven't heard anything about it this year. Anyone know?

I haven't heard anything about Blast returning for another year. Last year's presentation was portions of 'Blast 2: Shockwave' and I don't think they've done a 'Blast 3' yet. The next performances at the America Gardens Theatre will be the Flower Power concert series during Flower and Garden. You may be able to get more info from the Steve Soares site (could someone post a link? I don't have one...)

I'd love to see Blast back for another summer - the last 2 summers they were great!

well they are right my being a drummer also agree with this. They havent made a blast 3 and i woud imagine it is going to take some time before they do. Star of Indiana were in DCI for a number of years before turning into blast going back maybe 11 or 12 years. I may be incorrect about the years but i think its in the ball park.

It would be so great if BLAST came back this year to EPCOT, especially since the DCI Finals are coming back to Orlando this summer! If you are fans of BLAST, check out finals the week of August 5. Finals are at the Citrus Bowl on August 9.

I think we caught shockwave 3 times while we were there. Our kids also loved watching and listening to them. BRING them back!!

Blast is a drum and bugle corps. show which is fabulous. We saw it at Disneyland last year. I didn't even know they had it at WDW. Hope they get it for all to see. Most of the people in the corps. are from the USC band at Disneyland. They do have a video and a CD out which you might find, somewhere?

Last time any of my friends spoke to Jim Mason, it didn't seem likely that any of the Blast! productions would be returning to Disney. I'm really bummed because I enjoyed both the 2001 production from the original show and the 2002 production from Blast II - Shockwave. But apparently Disney's Entertainment management and Blast's management were not able to come to any terms for future shows.

If you live near a city where either tour will be stopping, go and enjoy - both shows are wonderful in their own way.
