Blast in Space Question

I apologize if this has already been posted, but I did a search and cannot find the answer. I can make it to Level Ten in the game, but I do not understand how and when the space stations appear. Sometimes they are there, sometimes not. Can anyone tell me when they appear? Is there any rhyme or reason to it? I cannot see them on the radar. Thanks!

Do you mean when you are blasting asteroids? When I play there is usually only one available and it is randomly chosen. The one available is always located in the same general area(like below).

If you mean when you have to go to all stations or when you have to pick up and deliver cargo, then they are all available in the corners and upper middle of the game, sort of like this:

I mean when I am blasting. Sometimes station 2 is there, and other times it is not. I can't figure out if there is a pattern to when they appear, or if it is random.

They are random. When you are blasting there is always one available but where is just a good guess.

If you have made it to level 10 then you are really close to winning! What is holding you up? Blasting enough, running into asteroids, or asteroids running into you?

They are always in the same spot in each level. Once you find it in a level, it will always be in that same place the next time you visit that level.

I can not remember the order, but I will pay attention the next time I play.

I checked to see if this held true for me but it doesn't. For level 1, the space station appeared at 1, 4 and 5.

I usually don't go to the space stations, though. I concentrate on blasting as many asteroids as possible.

It wasn't true for me either. I saw station 2 on one level and then it was gone the next. I like to hit them up for extra shields, which is why I end up looking for them. I ran out of time on Level 10 though - I didn't blow up.

Which ship are you using? I have been using the rocket ship. It doesn't handle as well at first but with practice it is as easy as the saucer. Plus it moves a lot faster.

Yes, I like the rocketship better too. I think I can fire more accurately with it. I would love to make Level 11, but it hasn't happened yet. I haven't given up hope though. I want to be able to give back the suit that was gifted to me and win my own!

I was kind of stuck around that level too. What helped me was to get a routine and stick with it each time.

For points levels - stay where you are and shoot as much as possible until they stop appearing around you. then I go straight over to the right, and work my way up until I am just below the moon (planet) near space station 3. From there, there are two streams of rocks that come - 1 down the right side of the screen, and 1 across below you from left to right. Shoot as many as you can from both streams to get points required. On the planet (moon) is a safe spot from rocks when you have enough points.

For 5 space station levels and cargo runs - the space stations are always in the same spot during the same game session. Figure out where they are on the first 5 ss run and don't forget. For #2, go straight up (or adjust as necessary) then either 1 or 3 (your choice) and work your way around. For the cargo runs, I find #5 the trickiest, as you should approach from the top, and there are rocks coming out from the corner. #1 is similar, except you need to approach from below, but for some reason seems easier. Going from station to station, it is usually easiest to stick to the edges at the start (when all the rocks are appearing in the middle) and then after a bit you can go through the middle.

I just made it to Level 11, and I am feeling more confident that I will someday beat this! I appreciate your tips, and will try to implement them the next time I play. Tonight, time was not my enemy - I was getting the necessary points. Rocks were the enemy. BOOM!
