I FINALLY went to see Black Swan this morning.

whoa nelly.

It was FANTASTIC. Natalie Portman was AWESOME.

BUT.

whoa nelly.

(She has my vote for an oscar!)

I'm a guy and thought the trailer to this looked very interesting, even though I typically do not like "chick flicks" if you pardon the phrase. Point is do you think a guys guy that likes suspense thriller movies would enjoy this? THanks

That depends on whether you are interested in seeing Natalie Portman in a sex scene with another woman. And whether you think that would overcome any issues with it being a "chick flick". :rolleyes1 :cool2: pirate:

Definately not something i'd consider a total "chick flick" it's definately a thriller. That scene with Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis...whoa.

The last scene was just crazy awesome.

Although I think Natalie is a sexy girl, I typically don't rent movies for the sex. I am more interested in interesting plots, thriller, suspense type aspects to the movies. Any sex appeal to me is just maybe icing on the cake at most, but not something I would rent just to check that part out.

I loved it as well.

This isn't a chick flick - it's a psychological thriller. If you like twisted and dark, you'd probably like it.

I was disappointed in the movie.

I LOVE LOVE Natalie Portman and the trailer looked great, I felt I was watching other movies that had the same concept, just set against a different story.

She was great and will win the Oscar, the movie overall was a let down. I would have preferred to see more about Winona Ryder's character.

Their was no real development I felt, but if you are fan of hers definately go and check it out.

"That scene" was okay, no one was naked. When I went to see the film 4 men were in front of me and after the scene they walked out and were shaking their heads. I guess they were dissapointed.

SSB is a fan ... this was my second favorite to "The King's Speech" at Toronto Film Festival in September. I would not categorize as "chick flick" (not that there's anything wrong with those) ... but as mentioned, psychological thriller (with emphasis on psychological)

Would be VERY surprised if she does not win Best Actress for her turn. (pun intended)

There is nothing "chick flick" about this movie!!! It is dark and twisted and will make you feel like you've lost it. It was so well done!

It wasn't what I thought it would be, but I thought it was fantastic.

I was kind of thinking the same thing that this is not a "chick flick" just has a few things such as ballet and such to throw some people off about that. I will consider renting this, the trailer looked very good.

I saw it Friday, not a chick flick at all!! I can't say I loved it. The acting was phenomenal, and I am glad I saw it, but I would not rush out to buy it or see it again. It was very disturbing. It was good and creepy though, I jumped more than once!
