My camera is a Canon SX20 is.
I debated long and hard between this one and a DSLR. My thought process is that if I can learn all the ins and outs of this one using manual settings, etc., then I'll spring for bigger and better in a few more years. Meanwhile, I'll be content with the 20x zoom and optical image stabilizer (which my last super zoom didn't have
).
What I'm thinking about is the Black Rapid RS-5:
I need a place to put the iPhone, tickets, Fast Passes, ID, credit/debit cards and a set of spare batteries. I had also planned on carrying (in a pocket or in the strap) a large ziplock bag in case of rain or water rides.
We're going to Disneyland in November/December and we'll be staying at VGC. So, if I try going "bagless" and it's not working out well that first day, it won't be too hard to run back to the room to pick up a bag. I have the Lowepro Fastpack 100:
I like it, it's very comfortable, but I don't want to carry it around all day. I also have a smaller bag with a shoulder strap that I could use, but I'm trying to avoid the bag.
Danielle, the lenscoat pouch looks promising. Is it fairly stiff, or could I fold it up and stuff it in a pocket?
Thanks for the help all! I really appreciate it. My goal for this year is to really learn how to make my camera(s) work for me.

Love it! But, I'm think I don't want to try that on

Oh, and really my favorite part, I'm staying right next door to Aulani!
