I will be in Orlando for Black Friday. I am Canadian and have never experienced a Black Friday so can you all give me some tips on how to have success shopping on Black Friday?

My son loves Lego - he is really into the Lego Ninjago and the Lego Hero Factory guys.

He also wants "Santa" to bring him a 3DS and some 3D games.

I have heard that some stores open at 3 in the morning which would be awesome to sneak out in the night and get some shopping done. Any tips to have successful shopping are greatly appreciated.

I love BF shopping. BUT it's work!

The key is to decide what's important, and hone in on that option (see below re: ads). You are only going to get doorbuster deals at one, or if you're lucky, two stores. The rest will be sold out long before you get there. The lines form hours before the store opens for the really special deals. That being said, there are plenty of savings to go around, and I find it worth going out even if I don't get the doorbusters [electronics]!

There are a number of BF sites that will post the print ads ahead of time. A quick google search will yield a slew of options. Read/track the available options and decide if it's worth it to you to stand in line. For anything "not" a doorbuster, you can likely arrive close to opening time. But if one of the doorbusters is what you really want, plan to arrive early and make friends with those in line with you :lmao:

Also, remember that you can order a lot of things online now, sometimes even before the doors open at the local store. If you have a smart phone, you can even order online while in line ;)
