Black Friday?!

yeah! my mom got like one of those really big yankee candles for like 2 bucks last year.

ive gone a couple times. its pretty hardcore. if youre a quiet, polite, nice person...DONT GO. you'll be eaten alive by little old ladies in their hoverrounds.

They have the best deals, but there are sooooo many people! the stores open at what, like 5 in the morning or earlier? hmmmmm i wonder what people are going to camp out for this year....

I've never participated in Black Friday, but my grandma has. xD

My mom and I hate to shop and hate large crowds while shopping, so we stay away from the malls on that day.

I haven't gone in a long time.
If I would go now I'd fight with the crowds over nothing, just because there are too many people I'd go insane.

I have never participated and never will lol.
I work in the mall though, and so when black friday rolled around last year I was seriously scared to go to work. People were scheduled to come in at 4 in the morning to get things ready. I didn't come in till 8 but we had non stop lines till at least 2 in the afternoon. I don't get what the big deal is about lol, :confused3

My mom won't bring me because every year we go to my little cousin, aunt, and uncle's house and we can't bring my little cousin so my mom says me and my sister have to babysit her while her and my aunt go shopping....It's Not Fair!

I know what it is. The Friday after Thanksgiving and Mom and I stay away from that madness.

Last year was the first time I went.
It was madness.

I couldn't walk and was in a wheelchair at that time, and my cousin was ramming me through the crowd yelling "Come on people, MOVE IT!"
It was hysterical.

Never been, probably never will.

I don't care if it's cheaper on BF, I'm not going.

Sounds like fun! I like old people! And entertainment?! Two for the price of one! just kidddding.

Besides, I was hoping to get a digital camera.. so maybe i'll beg somebody to take me so they won't need to get me a christmas present! :goodvibes

I've never done it. I was supposed to go last year, we did Thanksgiving with my BFFs family. Our moms were going out for BF in the morning, and us (me - 14, BFF- 13, BFFsbro - 15) wanted to go to the local outlets. They've got everything from Aeropostale to Burberry to BCBG.
We never went. :headache: "It was too cold" was our mom's excuse. I could've rammed people with my wheelchair and made them give me stuff using the excuse that I had cancer.

I'm gonna see if BFF wants to go this year. I'll still be in my wheelchair, which adds to all the fun. ;)

My favorite holiday of the year
hahaha I see the excitement going on right now
Last year we went to Best Buy at 5:30am in the morning(30 minutes after they opened)
And they had reached capacity and everyone had to wait outside in the cold for about 20 minutes
When we finnally go inside it was a circus
People were yelling and screaming
I grabbed my video camera and started video taping it and someone said it wasnt aloud
Then we went to the opening of Target the line was 4 blocks long.
We were one of the first to get inside and the people were yelling no fighting, running, etc.
They claimed there was plenty for everyone
But people didnt listen and there was a big fight over something
It was a sight to see
I think we also went to Kohls, Fred Myers, and somewhere else
The funny thing was we kept of running in to one of my friends from the dance studio lol
I cant wait for the fun of this year
I just love all the sprit and people fighting over 5% off a t-shirt

Black friday is the one of the worst days to work in retail.
Most retail stores put most things for sale, at least until 12PM.
Most stores open around 6 in malls, but sometimes earlier.
I work at the Lego store...which gets hella crazy and trashed EVERY saturday.
If I ever wondered what hell was like, I'll get a big indication on BF working there.
Build-A-Bear was extremely intense. Like, lines out the door for the stuffer, and lines wrapping around fixtures to pay, and literally the whole store was trashed.
The Disney Store wasn't that bad actually. It was messy, but other than that the lines weren't that bad (I got there at 2PM though).

I'd never go to a toy store. When I was 12 my mom and I waited from 3:30 in the morning to 6 in the morning at KBtoyz for a furby.

...we didn't get one.
My mommy bought me one on ebay though, haha.

We use to go to hallmark at 5 in the morning to wait in line for the new beanie babies that were coming out that day.
YAY. That was always so much fun.

I went last year, and it was nuts! Some lady was mad at me because I 'took' the last free MP3 player from Old Navy. It wasn't even that great though because it had 3 songs on it. Lame.

But target was gangbusters!!!

Well, no Thanksgiving here, so I haven't gone. But, we're going to WDW on thanksgiving, and everyone's going shopping for Black Friday except me. I'm just gonna go to Epcot while everyone's shopping, hoping there will be a fraction less people because they've gone shopping...

That would be me. I'd be the one at EPCOT while my family shopped. Considering that I'm going the first week of December, I'll be shopping, but not like my parents.
