Black Friday Streaming Deals

I went to cancel my Peacock from last years BF. They offered me another year for $39.99. Last year I got it for $19.99 and had an AMEX deal that lowered it another $10.99. This year I also have the $10.99 off AMEX deal. Not sure to grab it or wait and see if they do the $19.99 BF deal again. Luckily I have a couple days to see if they announce the price before Friday. I use 2 emails so I can switch off from year to year when it's a new customer only deal.

HBO Max is $2.99 per month for 12 months.

Do you know if you locked in for the year? Or can you cancel before the year is up and not pay any further monthly costs? I want it for a month or so to watch Welcome to Derry. But don't want to be stuck paying it for 12 months when I only need/want it for a month.

Thanks. Our Disney+ just renewed yesterday for $27.00 for this month. I think I'm going to try and get the $4.99 deal. Seems it'll save quite a bit of money.

Woah! I got DW on board. She wasn't a fan of losing all of her shows she's been watching or losing ESPN. But I told her we could find that elsewhere. So I think we're actually going to take the plunge. Like I said, though, our monthly payment for December just came out yesterday. So we will have to wait until next month to get it.

You will need to sign up by 12/1 to get the deal.

Remember that after the 1-2 months under those rates, REGULAR RATES APPLY. Prepare for more moolah to come out if you don’t like the service and forget to cancel…

That is the key. Cancel before that happens. I tend to set a reminder to do so, so I don't forget.

The annual ones aren't as bad, if you sign up at Black Friday you know that you need to cancel next year in November. The 2-3 months ones are tricker. That is when the reminder comes into play.

So you can get Disney+ and Hulu ad supported for $4.99 and HBO max ad supported for $2.99 but for all three ad supported it's $19.99?
