I have my eye on a couple of items for my kids: fisher-price grow with me kitchen for dd (19 mo) and star wars stuff for ds (5y). I noticed there were a couple deals on star wars stuff in the toys r us ad but not on the figurines (which is what he really wants) and looks like no deal on the kitchen.
My main question is, are there any "surprise" deals? If nothing exceptional caught your eye in the ad, would you still go? Should I skip it?
I was kind of excited about my first black friday but I dont want to go and buy a bunch of stuff I didnt want just because it was on sale.
Got any other tips for a newbie?
