I'm Canadian, so we don't get as great of prices on things as you do in the States (although it's pretty close once you factor in the exchange rate). It's also not a holiday for us, since our Thanksgiving is in October, but over the past 4-5 years Black Friday has really become a huge thing up here. I didn't go too crazy, despite having the day off work.
Our current TV in our living room worked fine, but I've been itching to upgrade for awhile now (it's a 40", and I bought it 4.5 years ago), so I bit the bullet and bought a 55" RCA 4K for $398. The best part was that the grocery store that had that deal was paying double the tax back to you, so my TV that was $398 + $10 enviro fee - double the tax came to $388!
I placed an online order from Old Navy/Gap for some athletic pants/sports bras. Total order came to $78.

Walmart order for 2 Christmas presents for my mom - $73
And then we spent over $500 on our pets... one of the local Pet stores had cat trees that were regular $125 on sale for $50, so we bought two of them (we picked one up at 7:30am, then there were still some left when I went back around 11am, so I bought another one). The cat food our 2 cats love was on sale for the cheapest price of the year, so we bought enough for 2-3 months (the expiration dates are over a year away, so we're fine there). Our dogs needed food, so that was another $100 (no sale prices on that, but we needed it). Dog treats were all on sale, so we stocked up for the next 1-2 months. Same for cat treats. Cat litter was a good price, so we stocked up on that as well. The dogs needed new collars, so I found clearance ones (regular $18, on sale for $3). We also have degus (a type of rodent), so bags of timothy hay were buy one get one free, and the bedding I like to use in their habitat was also buy one get one free. On cyber Monday, a different pet store (one that actually carries proper degu food, but is a bit of a drive for us to get to) offered free shipping, and degu food was $2 off the price they charge in store, so I spent $100 and stocked up on that.
Not the most exciting of purchases, but we would have needed all of that pet food/treats eventually, and we saved a LOT of money by buying it on Black Friday/Cyber Monday.
