They are finally showing a Harbor Frieght ad-I'm sure it's not a lot of stuff we're looking for but it's the first "official" ad scan! Hopefully the first of many!!! I'm really starting to stress about deals. I've decided I only *need* a WONDERFUL deal on digital picture frames and thememory cards for them (I need like 6 or 8) to totally finish my Christmas shopping!! The only thing I'll have left are the stockings! Those shouldn't be too hard!

I'm running out of patience...hopefully we'll see more soon!!

I WANT there to be more ads, but I think it's still very early. Looking back at the history on some of the sites it looks like the majority of ads don't hit until early November so we have another 10-14 days...maybe longer.

Looks like I'll be looking for a deal on an Ipod. DH's just died on him. Now he just has to decide if he wants a Nano, classic, or Touch. I doubt I'll find much of a deal, but I'll take a free iTunes gift card or the like.

Just a quick note, Toys R Us have the new Nano's this week for 149.99 AND THEN YOU GET A FREE $25.00 iTunes card with it. Great deal.

I've been saving knowing that I was going to put all of our CDs on an Ipod, now I'm hoping for some good discounts on the other 2. With the economy like it is I can hope, right?!?

Does anybody remember if there are any Black Friday deals at places like Barnes and Noble or Borders? My shopping list for DF includes quite a few books and I'm hoping for some kind of percent off or something like that...

Also, I know Amazon.com has specific deals on certain things, but do they ever have sale codes or extra percentages off? Can't wait til BF!!

Books a Million always does something. It's usually like and additional 10% off all hardcovers and some buy 2 get 1 free type of deals.

I've never seen any sort of Deals at Barnes and Noble, but then we don't make it there until after 10 am so they may have them in the wee hours.

Borders varies between the two. Usually there are some pretty good dvd markdowns (not ridiculously good like Best Buy, but normal week on sale good) and some sort of spend x amount get y% off.

Same here, DD wanted one then youngest DS decided he did to. Hoping they have a good deal on them! I have had a good friend mention to me that if at all possible to get them at Best Buy something about a very good warranty??!!

I don't remember there being any special BF deals, but I will advise you to sign up for Borders and B&N mailing lists. I ALWAYS get coupons from them, sometimes 30-40% off.

I've never heard of any sales codes at Amazon, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
