i am subscribing just started black friday shopping a few years ago gotta love the sales and waking up at the crack of dawn in the morning.:rotfl2:

I'm looking for a good deal on a computer for the kids. Needs to have a monitor too. I'll be checking here often to see what deals are to be had.

Is it just me or are the deals coming out late this year? It seems like last year I was already buying a lot because of all the great internet sales. :confused3

I have also seen alot of Hannah and HSM items on endcaps at walgreens,Target and Walmart. Whenever I am in these stores, I just do a loop around them to check them out. I also start my shopping right after they mark the christmas items 75% off, mostly for stocking stuffers and birthday gifts thru the year.I tell my 2 DD's santa is only bringing 3 gifts, so, really think of what you want. My oldest wants a laptop this year. So, since she is doing really well in school,(in all advanced classes) I'm really thinking about this one.

I got the HSM stuff at LTDcommodities.com. Once you are on their website, just search Highschool musical and a bunch of stuff comes up.
I am searching for the Troy doll. The pkg of him by himself, if anyone sees it, let me know.

Thanks.

They had a about 6 or 7 the other day in Target but I live in NJ. Have you looked on the web at all for him?

Anyone think there will be any deals on extra wii controllers? We have 2 but the kids would love 4. I just hate to pay full price!

Check ebay, sometimes they have things that are new in the package. might get a good deal there.

So excited! I love Bf...love the madness and chaos! Thanks for starting this thread...it's great! :yay:

well since we're all sitting ducks waiting for the ads....

what do you usually get from your black friday shopping? where do you go? what are your routines?

mom and i get to the first store BY 6am... generally it's macy's. we're generally there an hour, then go over to old navy, or target. then we grab a bagel and tea at panera (generally EMPTY!) and pop over to factory card outlet, then kohls. we're DONE by 9am... no later or it's a TOTAL zoo. as far as what i look for... at macy's it's generally clothes for dad, home goods for mom, clothes for DH. at old navy it's normally clothes for sis, bil and sil... and target is everyone else!! factory card outlet a lot of times has card sets on sale, so i stock up, and they have wrapping paper and bows for CHEAP! ooooohhh i'm so excited! from my rewards points on my visa, i ordered a $100 gc to target today! :cool1:

6 AM on Black Friday Morning?? :scared1: I would for sure miss out on everythng if I got there that late. Last year we were camped out at Best Buy by 9 PM Thanksgiving night! That was barely early enough! This year were planning on being out there by 7-8 Thanksgiving night. We are big on electronics. Video games, computers, cameras, etc. Last year our great buy was a Toshiba laptop with printer for $189! We were also able to find the Nintendo Wii! And a bunch of video games cheap! The year before a desktop with flat screen monitor and printer for $199! We usually hit up the electronic stores first. CC, BB then head off to wherever else there are good sales. Usually Target and Walmart. Were not usually done til 12 or 1! :rotfl: This year I will probably hit the mall too. I'm hoping to get another laptop this year for myself. The one we bought last year was for DS14, even though I get more use out of it than him! :rolleyes1

Wow, I generally collect all the ad scans, compare them all thanksgiving afternoon and map out my plan. Every year I vow never again to return to walmart, and every year pretty much start there, addicted to the price matching strategy. My dd and I get there at 2 am, and now we get to go inside, I gather all my price matching stuff then wait wherever for whatever I can't live without. My daughter mans the cart and I shop to her, she gets in line I grab a last few things. We're usually out of WM by 6 15 am, and on to the target line. No price matching, so its pretty straight forward, dd in check out line, I shop to her, rarely do we luck out and get a cart.

One piece of advice, avoid the news crews if you want to keep your Christmas presents a secret. The boys saw mommy buying goodies last year in the background of a customer interview and became a little wiser to Santa's methods.....................

Toys R Us is also a possible second destination for us but the unmanagable lines make it impossible. The check out lines is in the way of shopping so forget it....................

It's almost here buddies.

I'm in!
I only have one thing on my list so far:
DS lite in Rose or Pink for DD6

Looking for a decent bundle for a great price. I'm sure I'll think of more as it gets closer.

Have you seen the TRU thread? Looks like a great deal!

Last year our great buy was a Toshiba laptop with printer for $189! The year before a desktop with flat screen monitor and printer for $199!

DH camps out at best buy the night before also. We have both of these computers. Actually I am on the Toshiba as I type now. :rotfl: He camps out there and if my parents do'nt have other plans they come here for Thanksgiving. Then dad stay home and sleeps w/ the kids and I drag mom around. LOL Didn't make it any where last yr b/c they were at my brothers. Year before that we were at Sears early to get our free gift card. Then on to JC Penny to get our free mickey snow globes. From there it just depends. I try to avoid Wal-mart best I can. Kohls also only b/c I work there so it has to be really good for me to want to go back there that early. (BTW we are putting up Christmas there on Sunday). The mall is across from Target/Michaels and some other stores. We hit a empty Panara also.

Talked Mom and Dad to coming here again this yr and warned them about the plan again. As much as mom prentends she doesn't care for it I know she does. I check out the early black friday ads and then spend most of Thur (when we are not eating or decorating) looking at the ads to see where we want to go.

But will I stay in line over night for one... Nope..

I do go to BF every year and Im out the door by 4am..

This year I have granny coming along.. Ive already started to warn her about slowing me down..

So glad I found this post. I so love Black Friday, my DS and I do it every year. Our favs are of course Walmart, Target and Kohls if the deals are good enough! DH thinks I'm crazy to get up that early, but later sure doesn't complain when I saved us money!!;)
Looking forward to this specially when it gets closer to Thanksgiving!!:woohoo:

oh and we love ToysRUs!! ;o)

Anything for Best Buy or Target yet? I'm looking at a few major DVD's at the moment (is there a date for Prince Caspian yet???)
