While some enjoy the hectic running around, I'm going to try to minimize the craziness this year by getting family members things they can use, that don't require standing in line: iTunes cards and iPod accessories for the teens, a AAA membership for my brother, and magazine subscriptions for the those who have special interests. We vacationed in SD this summer, so MIL is getting black hills gold, which she loves. I'm also going to do lots of baking. Can you smell the pumpkin bread yet?

OMG!!!! I am SO upset! I just found out my vacation was turned down, and I have to work on Thanksgiving! And, I worked 6pm until 6am!!! ( yes, I have one of those jobs) I was so counting on having off and already planning my routes out. Now, I'll have to see what I can do by computer. Can someone please tell me what time I can start shopping online? I have always gone to the stores and only know about online shoppping deals the monday after black friday.Thank-you black friday buddies! I'll be thinking of you all!

So excited! I've been black Friday shopping almost every year since I was a kid.... it's almost more fun than Christmas morning!

Last year we got most of what we wanted on Thanksgiving Morning DH and I got up early and checked Circuit City, Best Buy and Walmart. DH did go out on Friday and picked up a few things but I think he only went to one or two stores and I slept in for the First Black Friday since my DS18 was born.

I think I am basically done already this year.
DD14 I just bought the computer for $199.99 at OD
DS18 will get cash because he is wanting to build his own super computer so I will just give him some of the money he will need.
DH wanted a pair of fishing waiters he found at Cabelas, he already got them during the end of the season sale and he is using them now.
I get the same amount of money he spent and can go shopping for myself so I am happy (I usually have to return what he got me )
Last year I when Walmart had their after Christmas sale I picked up teacher gift and family type gifts for my Brothers and Sister.
The neices are easy they get AVON goodies
The nephews are young and will be happy with any toy.
Mom and Dad are always easy Mom likes to go out to eat and Dad always needs ink for his printer.

Love all the BF stories! My daughter (in her 20s) and I went last year first to Best Buy - it was a mad house! There was an all out fight and so we left and went to Walmart. It was quiet as a mouse!!! No kidding! We had the run of the store and bought tons of dvds, memory cards, usb drives...etc! It was unbelievable!

This year, I'll be watching for...
*Wii - not a must so I'm waiting to see if anything pops up for BF
*GPS
*PS3
*DVD Seasons - Star Trek Next Generation, Everybody Loves Raymond, Two and a Half Men, House and so many more!
*DVDs - cheap!
*My son wants a car, but that won't be a BF item! And he's not getting it from me!

where, or where might the cheap cameras be?
In store after store the bargins they grabbed
Bragging on their cell phones about the things they had nabbed.

Normally, the wife and I just love all the excitement more than the need to buy anything. This year though, we have some larger items on our list (TV and PC among others).

Wii was BIG on my list but everytime I told DH how much fun it was at a girls retreat I went to, he was like

This is the first video game system I've been interested in, and Wii Fit was so much fun to play. He said the PS3 was better...blah, blah blah.

I was hoping to pick up a Wii on Black Friday, but...

I just opened my anni gift and DH got me a Wii!!! and Wii Fit & an extra controller , a Mario driving game with 2 wheels, extra Wii Games, and another Mario Bros game. So I am set!!!

We still want to pick up a big screen tv (Samsung), treadmill, and hopefully a projector too! This thread is fun!

OMG!! I thought I was addicted to the Disney info on these boards, but I have found my maker!! I live for BF - it is such an adrenaline rush! I used to work at a major store when I was in high school and found out about the mad craze at that time....people standing in line (the customers wouldn't let the employees near the door unless we showed our badges) and the mad rush (including some crazy ladies ramming people with their carts). Its get in...get your stuff...check out fast...and move on to the next store - all within 15 minutes! Sheer madness, and I LOVE it!
My BF shopping list....wii fit (although I know this probably won't happen), a GPS for dh, cheap digital camera for dd, an ipod for myself santa: ), also looking for a good deal on Cricut cartridges.
It seriously never crossed my mind to look at the ads online before Thanksgiving - it's almost like opening your presents before Christmas and then taping them shut again so your parents don't find out.... . But I just can't resist (as you may notice) - keep the ads coming!!!

Sorry, I have not had the time to read all the pages, but are there any actual ads listed yet for this year? I am looking for a cheap Circut and cartridges, and a Wii/fit for the family. That is pretty much all I am looking for as Disney is the family's Christmas present this year!
