Black friday buddies 2010 unite! BACK FROM THE TRENCHES POST YOUR WAR STORIES!

I am looking for a psp3 too. Does anyone have one that they could explain to me why there are so many different prices. I believe it is because they have different gb with the systems. Is there a psp for dummies book??? :)
Thank you fellow dissers

I'm really looking forward to Christmas this year, and hope I find some deals like I did in '08 ('09 they didn't have anything that made getting up at 3 AM worth it).

In case no one has posted it, here is a link to a BF website that posts ads as soon as they get them. They don't have any yet, but you can give them your email address and they'll let you know as they get them in.

http://www.blackfriday.info/sales/

I used them the last two years and they've been accurate. I've also used

in the past as well. I hope they start getting ads soon, I can't wait to see what they'll have this year!

Do you know if these are in-store only or available online?

I'm not sure. However, last year, Amazon matched all of Walmart's deal on just about every deal on every weekend. So if you go to the store, and the item is sold out, you might want to check Amazon. Or try Amazon 1st.

Last week Target had wii fit with balance board on sale for $77 an Amazon was also at $77. Now it up to something like $96 again. This week Target has video games buy 2 get 1 free and Amazon is matching that too.

I really enjoy Black Friday shopping but I think I'll be at home this year. I'm having foot surgery on the Monday before Thanksgiving. I'll have to do my BF shopping from home. I'm about 99% done with Christmas shopping so I hope I don't go crazy online buying more stuff while I'm home on bed rest.

DId they just automaticly match the prices or how does that work? Do you have to contact someone?

I made a dent in shopping today. I had that 20%toysrus coupon burning a hole in my pocket. So I was able to get a big Knights Castle (imaginarium) the Loopz game, Moon Dough Ice cream truck, Trio Batcave, Creationary (lego pictionary game looks way fun) All for $140 - I did have a $20 gift card from a previous purchase and they gave me another $10 one today!! I'm on my way! With 4 kids I have to start early. This is actually late for me but at this point almost done with youngest!

The advertised price is automatically matched. If it's not advertised at the lowest price, it would be worth it to send them an email to request a price match.

Anyone seen or heard from Tennia lately? I just haven't seen her on here in a while and was a little worried. :confused3

I was wondering the same thing. Hope all is well.

My Mom works at the mall and they were told they have to work on Thanksgiving day because Old Navy is going to be open.
Does anyone know what the sale items are or what they were last year?
Thanks!!!

Wow, they are making employees work on Thanksgiving day:scared1: Are sales doing badly enough that they have to open the stores on holidays.

They did it last year too and it was crowded!! They had some great sales not as good as thier black friday but good. Kmart is always open on Turkey day too.

if you look on the walmart website, (I was looking at the itunes card) it says In store only. It also said that on the laptop. I did not see where it said that on the tvs. If you are interested in any of these, look at the website and check.

I just found this on walmarts website which I clicked on one of the tvs:

Amazing Walmart Electronics Event Offer available online and in-store on November 6-7 only. Limit 1 per customer. Limited time offer while supplies last.

Hi everyone!! I'm a Black Friday shopper too but this year we'll be in Florida visiting friends flying in from England. They love to come to the US the week of Thanksgiving just for Black Friday. Anyone have any tips of us on how to find out what the Black Friday sales will be in Orlando on actual "Black Friday"? I'm pretty confident that I will buy a paper on Thursday while in Orlando and hopefully the sales papers will be in it! Any other advice would be great!! I'm getting so excited about our trip, seeing our friends again, and Black Friday!!! Help me all you can please...I'm sure I'll be like a fish out of water being I won't be home doing my regular Black Friday runs :lmao:

They will be. Just get the paper early. Thanksgiving papers may sell out due to the sales circulars.

Before Friday, I'd make sure where all the stores are. I'd focus on a specific part of Orlando. A good map or GPS is a must.

I know what you mean. We are usually out of town during the Thanksgiving holidays, so I usually have to familiarize myself with the stores myself.

Many stores have been opening on Thanksgiving the last few years but I would never go because I do feel sorry for the people that have to work and if the store doesn't have a good day hopefully they will do away with it.
