Anyone have any idea of what the sales will be like or what will be offered on Black Friday at the Disney Store? I was there today & they were telling people to come in between 5am (yeah right!) and 10am & the sale would be fantastic. There were a few things there that I would love to get if they were discounted but I really don't want to venture to the mall on Black Friday unless it was really going to be worth it. Thanks forany insight! I checked with Gottadeal.com & there was nothing there about the Disney Store so I figured I would check here!

Someone posted on another thread here about 20% off everything in the store during that time..and also something about toys buy 1 get 1 free or possibly 50% off

All I know of so far is 20% off your purchase if made before 10am.

we went last year and it was crowded. we had a great time though and bought quite a few things. Im not sure if I will go this year or not..

5am for 20%... not sure if I want to get up for that...........

Is 20% really considered a sale?

Call me cheap, but I don't consider 20% a good sale, unless its on already clearance priced items.

The day after Thanksgiving sale will be great, AND you'll save an EXTRA 20% until 10 a.m.

I had heard if you spent like 50.00 you got something free.. but who knows if that is true or not..

Was there today, ours opens at 4am even though the sign out front said 5am. They're giving away a Tinkerbell Snowglobe for free with a $40 purchase.

For girls, they already had some cute princess fleece hoodie shirts with fur around the collar for $9.99 and the matching pants for $4.99 on sale. Also some sweatshirt zip up jackets (real nice quality) for $7.00 with Mickey for boys and Minnie for girls on the back. Some fleece gloves and hats were $2.99 (various characters) and princess slippers for $6.99. No real great deals on any toys, so I'm hoping those go on sale on BF

I too will be working at The Disney Store....at 1:00am!!!! Our mall is actually opening at 1:00am!!!!!! All I can say is that that fun people wanted to work that shift. DH is going to meet me at 5:00am so that we can get in line at Wal-mart!! :rotfl2:

Between 5am and 10am there will be 20% off everything in the store. This does not include movies, cd's, gift certs, disney dollars, or disney world tickets. You cannot use the coupon in conjunction with the 20% off. It states that on the coupon. There will be items on sale, don't know what they are yet and you then get the 20% off on top of that. The free snowglobe is happening this weekend. If you spend $40 or more, you get a free snowglobe. There is not any buy 1 get 1 free things happening for black friday. Last year, there were a lot of toys on sale and the pj pals were $9.99 each instead of 2 for $25. I think that it'll be worth checking out. There is talk that the sale will actually start on Wed, so you could go in and check it out, make your list and hit the store on Friday morning and get the extra 20%. It was crazy last year. The lines went from one end to the other in the store, but it went fast and everyone was in a good mood cause they were getting some great deals. Have fun shopping!

will this also apply to disneyonline? The nearest store is over an hour drive from me.

Just yesterday we went to a Disney Store at Mall of LA in Baton Rouge, LA and was very disappointed with their stock. They didn't seem to have that much in the store. They were already doing the special of spend $40 and get a free tinker bell snow globe. There wasn't much for my 2 y/o boys. There were a few toys that were 50% off - not a great selection though. Maybe that particular store just sucks... :confused3

I used to work at a Disney Catalog Outlet store. We used to have fantastic sales during the holidays. Every weekend of the year we had a super price on two or three items. Talk about spending your paycheck at work! The closest Disney Stores to me were 1 hour and 2 hours away. Both of them closed years ago. The oulet closed several years ago as well. That really sucks! I wish I had a store closer to me. I have to go to WDW or order on-line now.
