Black Friday Airline sales

Does anyone know if airlines have special Black Friday sales? If so, do they usually wait to announce it on that day?

I had never heard of such a thing, but apparently, at least in the past, there are travel sales, primarily package type deals, not really airfares. If you do a Google search, you'll find some past offers.

Sometimes a package which includes airfare and a cheap hotel is less expensive then booking just the airfare. Throw away the room.
