Black Friday 2013 Thread?

I love Black Friday! The planning is almost as exciting as planning my next Disney vacation!

I just bought the Disney Infinity deal from Toys R Us. Thank you for sharing that. I panicked before I saw the 20% off coupon code :)

Free delivery too! It will be here the 30th or Nov 1st.

my personal take is if you need/want something for a Christmas pres. buy it at price you can live with and if you find it cheaper, bring one back with higher priced receipt.

My mom, dd, sister and I will be in New York City for Thanksgiving this year and are staying at a hotel in Herald Square. Know what else is in Herald Square???? MACYS!!! We fly out late Friday morning so we know what we will be doing Thursday night! I love Black Friday shopping and was a little bummed that we would miss it this year since we'll be out of town but not anymore.

What fun!!!

The Macy's NYC Thanksgiving Parade is one of those things that everyone deserves to do at least once in their lifetime!!!

Bundle up warm, no matter what the forecast is!!! Thanksgiving in NY is WINTER!!!!

I love Black Friday! My 7 year old son is begging to go this year! It is bound to be interesting w/ him!

For me, Black Friday isn't really about the sales. I'm not one of those on line outside in the cold hoping for a bargain on a TV.

It's all about the fun for me. I'm out at 4 am, doing my Christmas shopping. The prices tend to be good, the crazy crowds tend to be gone (or not there yet) when I hit the stores... the shelves are normally being restocked as I shop after the midnight madness. I have no timeline; my husband and kids know not to expect me until I get home. STill, the excitement in the air is palpable.

I really get a kick out of it!!

I agree with this and do same myself. I was just saying if there are lil tykes and there is a must have gift, buy it while you can or you may be a sorry elf.

I love black Friday and am so upset Hanukkah is before it this year. I'll be 2 nights in and can't really order anything online. I got great deals on Amazon and Kohls the night before Thanksgiving. Do you think Infinity will go lower than $60? Unfortunately I can't wait until black Friday to get it. It's $60 on Amazon also right now.

I would love if Michael's 30% the whole store coupon they usually have includes rainbow loom bands.

I want to get a new Christmas tree with the lights already on it. Has anyone gotten a good deal on one during black Friday?

I'd wait until after Christmas if you can. The day or 2 after they usually go 50% off then more % as time goes on. I got a beautiful huge pre lit tree for 80% off a few years ago right after New Years at Kmart

I got a really nice one at Home Depot one year. Seems to me they usually have one, and Lowes may as well.

I was just at Michael's and their Rainbow Loom display has a big sign on it: Not accepting additional coupons of any kind :( It could change but the staff didn't think it would.

One of my favorite childhood memories was going to the parade with my sister and my Dad Thanksgiving mornings! :goodvibes Macys on 34th St was a BIG part of my life growing up! :thumbsup2

A couple of minor ads are out already. I think Macy's is the big name that has already released theirs. You can see them on theblackfriday.com or bfads.net

I'm ready for the big 3 (in my house that's Target, TRU and Walmart)! So looking forward to the next few weeks when we celebrate Thanksgiving and really kick off the Holiday season.
