Black Friday 2013 Thread?

Has the black Friday thread for 2013 been started yet? I could have sworn it was up by now last year. I got so may good ideas and major deals from that group. Looking forward to another year of BF madness! I'm seeing some buzz already about hot toys, electronics, etc. It looks like Amazon just introduced the new generation Kindle Fires. I'm hoping to score a great deal on a Fire or possibly a Nook for my DS7. He uses the Nook in class and specifically asked for one. My DD 4 is easy peasy... ARIEL everything! So that leaves the baby- 1yr. I'm thinking some little people playsets and a busy cube of some sort. Vtech has one that looks awesome, but I think I want to get away from the toys requiring batteries. This weeks Toys R Us add looks good, even though I wasn't ready to buy jsut yet, I may have to hit them up this week. Wow... didn't mean to ramble. I guess I'm more excited than I realized!

There have not been ads leaked yet. Usually the first ads get leaked in early Oct and it is usually Half Priced Books and Ace Hardware. I can't wait either as I love BF shopping.

Ok, ok... maybe I jumped the gun a little! I thought there was an "official" BF thread prior to the ads being released where everyone speculated on what the deals would be and talked about what we were all looking for.

So yeah, if anyone wants to share what you think the deals will be and whats on your wish list this year... the clock's ticking!!!

That was one sweet promotion, with the 4 of us we really got a ton of stuff with those buttons! Can't wait till BF this year!!!

I'm interested to see what happens. Last year.....despite protests from store workers....Thanksgiving Day was the hot deal day in the stores here. And my cyber shopping coworkers say the big cyber deals were the Friday BEFORE black Friday.
There is one less shopping weekend this year, so they will be playing every angle to boost sales.

I'm hoping for a good Black Friday... Last year I didn't even bother because all the good deals started on Thanksgiving and I refuse to shop on the actual holiday. I'm not sure there's anything on my list that is likely to go on sale this year anyway but I still enjoy the hunt.

I love shopping in the middle of the night, its fun and I meet some interesting people. My family and friends think I'm crazy and I'm ok with that because I get to give GREAT gifts for less money

We loved those discounts. We bought tons of gifts and everyone got new coats with the larger gift cards we won.

Love bf shopping. I started at 10 Thursday and go until about 2 then get out again about 9.

We always go out for BF. We plan everything out using the leaked ads on the internet to make a game plan. We are very good at sticking to the plan. My DW is incredible at finding the best deals. Can't wait for the ads to start popping up online soon.

FYI depending on age of your daughter I got the bow for my child and its kinda lame. It really doesn't shoot that far at all.

My kids are pretty much out of the toy phase but I love getting the great deals on DVD's as they love movies. I also love hitting up Old Navy, Justice, and Kohls for chlothes. This year I will be visiting the mall as my boys are into Arepostle, Pacific, and all those other hot teen stores.

I love BF!!! I enjoy the atmosphere and excitement of finding that big deal! Last year was DBF's first BF, and he got cart duty (can't just throw someone in!). This year he says he wants a more active roll

Lol my DH never goes with me he can't handle the crowds. I usually go with my mom. I love getting DVDs, the blankets from kohls, and I work at a nursing home and we usually do Christmas angels and I will get a bunch of stuff for that. No big electronics this year.
