Not a great coupleof days. I got on the scale this morning and :scared1: :scared1: . It was much higher than anticipated. Ran downstairs to dh's scale and it was what I expected. Went back upstairs and did my scale again. It said 1 pound up. Not happy but with all the stress of the last couple of days I am not surprised. Hopefully the stress will all be over on Wed night after a meeting that I am not looking forward to.

Challenge of the week for the Black Team Join me starting tomorrow to record right here on the thread what we eat and what we are doing for exercise.

I will be doing that starting tomorrow morning.

Be back later. Got a late start today.

Question of the day What is your favorite time of the year? ANd Why?

No joy for me on the scale this morning, either. Two pound gain. And, if I'm honest with myself, I'm not surprised. But, today is a new day, and I'm adding strength training to my regimine...hate it, but I know that I need it.

And, my favorite time of year is Fall. I love to wake up to the crisp feel in the air, and I love to visit New England this time of year. The smell of apple cider, the look of pumpkins, hay, mums, etc....I just love all of it! And, I usually visit WDW for the Food and Wine Festival in October, so that's another reason to love Fall!

Happy Tuesday everyone.....

My Favorite Time Of The Year Is The Summer!!I Feel Like I Am On Vacation At My House All Summer Long! GOOD TIMES!LOTS OF LAUGHS!!

HI all! I'm down 1.6 lbs this week. My favorite time of the year is Spring. Summer is too hot here in the South. In the spring, it's like everything is new...

Have a good one!
Stacie

I'm up a pound today. Not surprised at all, and thought it might have been more. I've got a little journal I'll be carrying with me to write every bite I put in my mouth. Hope that will help me become a big LOSER!!

My favorite time of year is the fall. I love the cooler days and evenings, and the beautiful foliage, going apple picking, carving pumpkins.

Congrats to all our losers here!!!!!

We can do this!!!!! :cheer2: Have a great day!!!

I'm down 5 lbs  After Homecoming Weekend at work it's no wonder - I was on my feet for about 30 hours in two days but the scale was pleased so that made it worth it  :) I like the idea of posting what we are eating and exercising, great idea! As for my favorite time of year - FALL! Here in Wisconsin it's stunningly beautiful and I just enjoy it so much :teeth: Football, Halloween, Thanksgiving, it's a great time! :)

Checking in this morning. I started the day with a slice of sourdough toast--straight from San Francisco's Boudin bakery--yummo! My lunch plans are still up in the air. Lunch resulted in an ear of corn and a chicken taco with only chicken and cilantro. Dinner was salmon croquettes, green beans, and carrots. I'll post a in a more concise manner tomorrow.

I managed to squeeze into a pair of jeans that I haven't worn all summer, and they feel okay. However, they are a subtle reminder that I need to stay vigilent or the pounds will continue to creep.......

I changed my workout tactic yesterday. I'm gonna start dividing my elliptical workout into two segments of 20-25 minutes each. I still burn over 600 calories, but if feels a lot less tiring, and I think I get my heart rate even higher this way. I'm also adding a little weight training every other day.

Good Morning Teammates!!

I watched the biggest loser last night, and now I pictures Dona as Jillian, our awesome motivating leader.

On the challenge this past week, I earned 40 points. Never got that bubble bath, or to the library. And didn't get active every day around the house. I did catch up with a few old friends which was real nice and played some games with my son.

My day yesterday was great. The first day in a long time that I actually journalled all I ate. I almost had some lorna doone's at work, and I thought of you all, and held off. My food for yesterday- bkfst-cottage cheese w/ canteloupe and pineapple, toast and peanut butter. snack-fiberone bar. Lunch-leftover chicken pot pie. snack-All bran crackers with salsa. Dinner- haddock, rice, and peas, plus a light vanilla ice cream cone for dessert. Evening has been my problem lately, so I made a cup of chai tea while I watched TV, and when that was gone, I wasn't really hungry, but I couldn't stop thinking about food, so I had just 1 fiberone bar and went to bed.
Exercise- I walked for 1 hour, prob 3-4 miles. Now, if I can only do this more than one day I'd be in good shape.

kayeandjim00- Congrats on that awesome loss!!!

Have a wonderful day!!

Hope

Hi Team,

Sorry I've been MIA, but I've been out of town. We went on a cruise, so I wasn't here for the last weigh-in and of course, have gained a few pounds. I did manage to hit the gym 5 of our 7 days, but it wasn't with the intensity I would've liked. Running/speed walking on a treadmill while a ship is rocking beneath you is a bit of a challenge. Anyway, it has been busy since we've been back, and I have a dental appointment today. Ugh!!! However, starting tomorrow I will get back on my workout schedule. I'll also need to kick it up a notch since training for the half has now officially begun.

My 42nd birthday is this Sunday, and I am a bit bummed. I was really hoping to be a lot closer to my goal weight by my birthday than I am. However, it really has been so much harder to lose weight these past couple of years. I don't mind the getting older part. I was just hoping to be fitter while doing it.

BTW, this is my favorite time of year. I love the fall. Clear. crisp air. Leaves changing colors. Football. Seriously, what's not to love?!?!

Challenge of the week for the Black Team Join me starting tomorrow to record right here on the thread what we eat and what we are doing for exercise.

Will report back on the eats later but tonight i am going to the gym for a weights class and spinning class (back to back).

Yesterday i took kick boxing and i'm waiting for the shoulder pain to kick in soon. (It's really a great cardio/upper body class) After that class i walked on one of those tread climbers for 17 minutes. (boy are they more of a workout than just a treadmill)

Lost another 4 lbs for this week. (but sadly expecting a stall to kick in soon)
I just have to keep up my gym workouts and hopefully i'll still lose inches.

Please don't call me Jillian. My sons were sitting there watching it with me (Yes they are 17 and 22) and they were both saying what *itch Jillian was. My younger son said to my older son watch it Mom is the leader of the black team so don't say anything bad about the black team.

Gotta go off to make the halls in this school a better place to be in.

Talk later.

HI LAUREN!! HOWS THE CONSTRUCTION COMING? CANT WAIT TO COME UP!:wave2:

Hi! Well, my downstairs bathroom is gutted so I am a little freaked out. This wasn't planned so I am still getting used to this idea...:scared1:

************

Congrats to all the losers here!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I think we should post our food and/or exercise once a day. Either at the end of the day or very early the next day. This challenge started this morning and will run until next Tuesday night.
