I hope everyone had a great weekend. It was thanksgiving here so i didn't have a chance to get online. I'll catch up with everyone this afternoon.

Have a great day Blue Team:cheer2:

Monday QOTD: I live in a town 20 minutes from Raleigh, NC (I work in Raleigh). I've lived on my same road my whole life. When I got married, my parents asked me which tobacco field we wanted to build on, and that is where we live now.

I've done good this weekend and most of yesterday until my DH surprised me with hockey tickets last night (we played Detroit, and lost), so I had to eat a quick bite at the game.

Hope everyone has a good day - Go Blue! - Lisa

I live and work in Raleigh, NC! Lisa- we should get together...

I got a bit off track over the weekend at the soccer tournament, but not totally crazy... I was OP yesterday and still on track with exercising. I hit 15 pounds weight loss for my next WISH ribbon! :goodvibes

Hi everyone.

I totally missed the weigh in this week but I didn't have any to offer to the team.

My calf muscles have been so sore since Saturday. We went to Gettysburg and were climbing many towers. Hopefully the soreness will leave completely today.

Off to read up on the other posts.

Sabrina

QOTD: I am from Canada, live in a town on Lake Ontario that is about 30 minutes from the New York State border, the closest big US city to us is Syracuse, NY. I've lived all over North America though so I don't really have one place that I call my "hometown".

Well yesterday was Thanksgiving up here in Canada so needless to say my eating was not all that wonderful. I only eat white meat so that part was okay. What really killed me was the dessert. Not only did we have dessert at home but when I went into work last night two people had brought in apple cheesecake and pumpkin pie. I couldn't say no! At least I only had one really small piece of each.

Hey guys, I am just jumping on quick to say HI! I am running behind and have to get to work, I am on call tonight so I might not get to personal replies. Have a great magical losing day!

Ok...going to do two QOTD!!

Mondays: I live in Toledo, OH which is considered the NW part of Ohio. I love it here, but I think my hear really wants to move somewhere south...where a certain mouse lives.....:confused3

Tuesdays: Yes, the area I live in can be a hinder to my excerise because it's not really safe to walk early morning or late night, when I could. But, sometimes at night, I will walk my parking lot because it's right in front of my house/apartment.

But, I try to workout in the apartment because my bedroom is pretty spacious!! But, then again the bed is in there...so....all of a sudden....I'm laying down and watching tv...eating some kind of snack.....how did that happen?!?!?:confused3 :lmao: :rotfl: :confused3 :lmao: :rotfl:

Hi Fellow Blues!

I was born and raised along the shores of Lake Michigan and still live within 30 miles of my first home. Due to "lake effect" we get a ton of snow each winter which can hamper exercise plans. Some nights it just seems too snowy to drive to the gym!

On the other hand, it's great for cross county skiing! Unfortunately, my preference is to hibernate during the colder months. I need to change that this year!

I have been meeting most of my food plan and exercise goals, but the scale is still not budging. Keep up the good fight. :goodvibes

(Only 3 more weeks till WDW!!)....

Donna

Tuesday QOTD: Does the area you live in affect your weight, exercise, eating habits?

Well, it should affect my exercise. Living in North Florida we don't have that many really cold days or weather issues to contend with. So there should be no reason I can't get out and exercise more. Bottom line is that I just don't.

Just checking in...I've got no battery on my computer...

I have worked out a ton and am eating great. If I don't see a change soon, I am going to have to go to the doctor some time when I go home to the States. I'm getting ANGRY.

Hope to be able to check in more when my new charger arrives!!:surfweb:

Hear Ye Hear Ye, the Weightkeeper speaks

What an interesting week according to our numbers. I usually do my final crunching Monday. Sleep on it and review everything on Tuesday. I could not believe the numbers yesterday and today they still told the same story. No surprise there. So this is it for real and for true. Hang on here we go.

We started the week with 129 participants. This week 18 folks have been removed for not reporting for three weeks. So we are now at 111 participants.

-------------------Black Team-----Blue Team-----Red Team-----Total
started week---------42-------------43-------------44-----------129
removed---------------6--------------6--------------6------------18
current-members------36-------------37-------------38----------111
not reporting 1 wk------7--------------7-------------11-----------25
not reporting 2 wk------3--------------4--------------4-----------11
weigh ins for week-----26-------------26-------------23-----------75

Blue Team Week 4

26 weigh ins
10 gains totaling 19.9 lbs
4 maintains
12 losses totaling 20.2 lbs
6 removed from challenge losses totaled 11.5 lbs

Weekly net loss 0.3 lbs
Cumulative net loss 156.1 lbs

Now the real fun begins. Let's look at our Blue Team Superstars.

Again keep in mind that if you skip a weigh in your percentage lost for the next weigh in is divided in half. That only seems fair doesn't it?

Also I will plead again please state your weight for the week in the number of pounds you weight not just 'I stayed the same' or 'I lost 2 pounds'. I need the number or I will have to look it up and believe me I have plenty of other stuff to be doing.

Also again please report what team you are on and if you email me please include your DIS name. Still having some problems and I just wanted to state these requests in a larger font. Hey ladies don't make me shout next week.

And as usual keep in mind I am human. I do make mistakes. If you have a concern please PM or email me.

OK I have said enough. Brace yourselves. Now pay attention. We only had 12 losers this week. I want to recognize them all.

Hey Blue this just was not our week was it? I know I did not help us at all. What can we do to redeem ourselves next week? We were pounded this week. Wow it hurts. I know I will be trying harder. How about you?

Were you a superstar this week? With team members leaving that does increase your odds. What can you do to make sure we are victorious next week? You can be a superstar. Even if your name never appears in fancy font and crazy colors you are a superstar for sticking out this challenge. You are a superstar for trying your best everyday. You are a superstar for becoming healthier. I'm looking forward to seeing less of you next week. :thumbsup2

Have a healthy day!

I suppose this could be expected given how much all of us have been losing. I will say, I weighed in today and I lost 2.6 pounds! Woo hoo!

Hi All!

QOTD: My location doesn't really help or hurt. In the winter when its cold its a little harder to get motivated but that shouldn't stop me from working out in my living room. I'm my worst enemy...it's really easy for me to find excuses with small children, long work hours etc. Trust me I have thought of and used them all...;)

Jessi: Great Job this week! I also wanted to say Happy Birthday! Hope you have/had a great B-day!

I think this week should be better than last for WI on Friday. I've eaten healthy and logged at least 7K steps. I've gotten my water in each day which I haven't been able to do since we started. I hope to make up for last week and help my team regain its title.

Have a great night everyone!

Wow- Those numbers were quite the surprise. I am sure we will redeem ourselves this week. Hang in there blue team ;)

Way to go LISA! :cheer2:

Biggest Loser was interesting tonight with couples being split up. Most folks had big losses, so I guess we all need to hit a huge hiking hill for 14 hours... right after we tend to the homefront I suppose :laundy:

No excuses- we got this!:woohoo:

I only have a moment to jump on bu I wanted to say

Way to go Lisa!!!!!

WOW, I had a lot of catching up to do on the reading...I don't have much time this morning to reply to things but did want to say WTG Lisa and Blue Team...we may not have been in 1st but I still think our team is great. We will bounce back with our numbers. While we were away this weekend in the mountains you all were in the back of my mind helping me to make good choices and to keep getting in my water.

QOTD for Monday: Where do you live? country, city, sate, Region... whichever you feel comfortable sharing!

I live in Burlington, NC right along interstate 85/40...love it here, we are midway between the ocean and the mountains. I grew up about 5 minutes from where I live now. When we married, my in-laws were wanting to downsize but with the business behind the house they didn't really want to sell outside the family. We bought the house from them, so DH has never moved (except for moving to the master bedroom-which he said at first was weird):) . We kid around and say that one day we'd like to have a house in FL for the winter and one in the NC mountains for the summer.

Tuesday QOTD: Does the area you live in affect your weight, exercise, eating habits?

I can't say that the area has an affect on any of those things that I can't control...I can say that I think if we lived further out in the country it wouldn't be so tempting to grab a bite to eat out as often or if we lived in a neighborhood that had a good place to walk, it would maybe make it a little easier to get some walking in but those are only excuses and I'm working on them. I am planning our meals out so I'm prepared and not as tempted for us to just run out to eat which also is saving us money. We are also getting to the park to walk now instead of making excuses about it.

Got to run but will try to get back on later today. Here's some PDpixiedust: for everyone to have a great day and to remember that we have a lot to be proud of and we can do it!!!

:cheer2: YAY! LISA:cheer2: :cheer2:

Just wanted to say Hi - thanks for the update - I'll work a little harder the next couple of days and see if I can help our team out a little more.... Have a great day everyone!

Hey everyone, just quick jumping on to say hi! congrats to LISA!!! Way to go, and I have to say I am thrilled to be in the #5 slot! I am so proud of myself.

A mini Triumph for me....
Last night I had planned on eating some chips while watching BL.... I know, that is an oxymoron at the highest level! Anyhow I got busy sewing our costumes for MNSSHP (adding spiders and worms), it kept my hands busy and I DID NOT EAT ANY CHIPS, OR THE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES MY KIDS MADE!!!!! I am so proud of myself!
