Welcome to week 12! We have just under a month left, so make these last few weeks count!

Remember to weigh in and report your results to Brenda (Dare2Dream) by PM or email. brenda@kbelectric.biz

So how was your Thanksgiving, where you able to stay on plan? Any extra exercising to offset that stuffing??? Tell us how it all went!

Have a great week everyone!

Hi everyone! Thanks for the happy birthday wishes and congrats on being the weeks biggest loser! That was awesome!:cool1: I weighed in this week, and I guess I got stuffed by the stuffing!:rotfl: I am up ***gasp*** 4 pounds!:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: I guess I have some work cut out for me.

Regarding our Thanksgiving, I had a very nice time at my in-laws, but I think I had the absolute worst holiday ever at my parents. I can't even really get into it all. I felt like I was in an episode of a sitcom comedy. At one point I looked over at DH and said, this can't really be happening! I don't really even want to post what happened because I can honestly see my crazy DSis:crazy: "stalking" me on the internet (Hi there stalker  ) ((and yes, she does check up on people)) and reporting it all back to my mom.

All DH and I wanted to do was scream "mistletoe" at each other and run out of the house about 5 minutes after we got there... and it just went downhill from there...:scared:

(The mistletoe reference comes from the movie 4 Christmases...which was hysterical, anyway the 2 of them came up with the word "misletoe" as a signal to get out of there.)

I hope everyone else had a fantastic time!

And I am thinking about our Good friend Linda, and I hope she is having the time of her life! Good luck Linda!pixiedust:

Hi Princess Vija, I'm very sorry about your family. Mine was okay. We ate at my parents yesterday for lunch, then I was so full I didn't eat any dinner. I just went back up there tonight (they live right up the road from me) and got a few things. DH was hungry, so I knew where some good food was. Tomorrow we are going to DH sisters house for dinner. It will be sad because his dad past away in June and this will be the first holiday without him. I need to get up now and make a cheesecake - my job is the desserts. Hope your weekend goes well.

Happy traveling Tammy - you'll be at Disney soon!!! - Lisa.

We are here at Disney, got our walk in around the All Star Sports this morning, 3 times around took 50 minutes, at least we weren't just laying around the room this morning. We are heading over to AK for the day. More later.

Have a great day everyone, let's go Blue Team, we can do it!!!

Glad you made it Tammy. Good for you to have already gotten your walk in. I hope the weather is nice for you. Have a good time, can't wait to hear about what you did.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. - Lisa.

tammy, awesome job getting in the walking! Hope you are having a marvelous time!

Linda, I am thinking about you and wishing you well!

I am doing ok. I have my TKD testing coming up, and I am gearing toward that. I have set a goal of 25# loss by that testing, and I am going to have to get really cracking to get it done.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Hi Everyone

I'm down .2 this week - which I'm ok with. I had worked my butt off to make it more - but I had a less than happy thanksgiving - but I'll leave it at that. Stupid family crap. I really fell back into my emotional eating habits (although not as deeply) as somewhere inside myself my little voice kept saying - to not let my sister or mom get to me - find another outlet, etc - so even though I feel like I gave up my plan and my control - it wasn't a total surrender - the house is at least back to normal today as everyone has gone home. I exercised hard everyday for at least an 60 mins (except Thanksgiving) and I even endured their snide comments and so forth on Friday morning when I went to water aerobics class. I smiled and said - "why don't you join me" knowing full well they wouldn't. But I was pround of myself for going on Friday - not only that but I also got up at 4:30 am to drive all the girls (5 teenagers) to the mall for black friday shopping - shopped with them until 8:30 then dropped them at home and went to water aerobics from 9:00-10:00.

Lisa & Tammy - Sounds like things went ok for Thanksgiving. Tammy - enjoy your Disney trip and Lisa- sounds like you had a busy time and lots of family hopping. Vija - I'm sorry about Thanksgiving. I know how bad the day can be. Good luck on your training for the upcoming tournament. To the others still to post, I wish you all a wonderful week and I hope you all had a blessed Thanksgiving.

Lisa

Lisa - good for you to overcome your family and doing what was right for YOU. That is what you are going to have to do, look out for yourself.

I was busy this weekend getting ready for our upcoming Disney trip - we leave this Saturday. :cool1: I have almost everything organized, now I just have to wait, watch the weather, and throw some clothes in a suitcase.

Hope everyone has a good week - Go Blue! - Lisa.

njmom23grls, sorry you too had a bad Thanksgiving, but good for you to not fall off the wagon but keep going on! you exercised a bunch and the reward will be yours. Hang in there!

hobbester, Oh, I wish I was going with you! I hope you have a magical time!!!!

I did ok, there is always room for improvement. I am just trying to do a little bit better everyday.

We'll still be down until the 12th, maybe we can pass by and say hello...where are you all staying?

We moved from All-Star Sports over to the Villas at Wilderness Lodge yesterday. Getting settled in and got the scale unpacked. So far as of this morning I am maintaining where I was at Thanksgiving morning. Hoping to get in at least a couple of more walks before WI this week. If I don't have a loss, hopefully will at least maintain. We were planning on walking the path tomorrow morning but they are calling for lows to be in the 30's tonight. Jimmy said we may hit the treadmill instead which will be fine too.

Off to the store while DD is getting ready then we are heading over to Epcot for the rest of the day and a late lunch at San Angel Inn.

More later...have a great day Blue Team.

Hey Tammy, sounds like you are having a great time. Good for you to keep your exercise up. We check into the Grand Floridian Sunday the 7th. I'll pm you a picture of DH and me tonight when I get home in case we run into each other. Wow, the nights sound like they are chilly. I think I'm going to have to pack a little of everything.

Hope everyone is having a good week. Now that Thanksgiving is over, maybe we can get back on track and keep going. YOU can do it Blue - don't stop now, we have come too far! - Lisa.

Hear Ye Hear Ye, the Weightkeeper speaks

I am getting burned out and this weeks numbers are late again. The tabulations are made but I like to sleep on everything and check it in the morning to see how things look then. When I rush I make mistakes as the one I am about to confess to. Sorry ladies.

Sometimes I get weight reports that I question. I then contact the sender to verify the numbers. If I get the correct information all is well. If I do not we have problems.

During this challenge I have received numerous weight reports with 10 pound gains. I know it is possible to gain 10 pounds in one week. It could even out a huge loss, or be water gain, TOM (time of month), or just a REALLY bed week. Usually I contact a large gainer to question the report. Sometimes I do not. Week 8 I had a large gainer I did not contact. The next week they had a huge loss. After a contact the error was discovered. Fortunately this error did not effect the weekly team standings.

Last week was another 10 pound error. Unfortunately my questioning PM sent Tuesday morning was not answered before I posted the official announcement. Wednesday evening the PM was answered with 'oops I made a mistake and reported the wrong weight'. By then I was in Thanksgiving mode and had to walk away from everything BL.

Loyal readers here are the morals to the story

* Brenda - contact every person that gains over 6 pounds in one week to verify their report and do not make any announcement until a response is received no matter how long it takes.

* Losers - please respond quickly to my requests and PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE double check your PM or email before you send it to make sure you typed in your weight correctly.

Now let’s take at look at the correct line up for week 10.

The week 10 WISH BL 6 Challenge
Corrected Biggest Loser Team

#3-The Red Team-.201%
To be #1 they would have had to lose an additional 8.3 pounds

#2-The Blue Team-.564%
To be #1 they would have had to lose an additional 0.7 pounds

and now announcing our real weekly Biggest Loser Team Champions

#1-The Black Team-0.594%

Congratulations to the Black team that actually won last week. As a Blue team member who thought we had won last week it really hurts to admit this but I must be fair. That is what I am paid for. Oh never mind I don't get paid anything to do this. I must be crazy. Only 2 more weigh ins and then I can take my computer in for a tune up. It has been running like molasses lately and it certainly can't be due to operator error.

Here's a teaser. Week 11 numbers REALLY pleasantly surprised me. crunkyjens-Jen on the Black team said 'I must have ate magical turkey or something'. Jen you sure did and so did 12 other losers. We had 13 losses for the week, 5 maintains and only 3 gains. Great work ladies!! More excitement to follow tomorrow.

Well, all good intentions of going down to the treadmill this morning but it didn't happen. Told DH that we need to do that before starting the coffee in the morning.

It has been cooler this trip, I'd pack for warmer and cooler weather. Got your pics, will keep my eyes open for ya, would love to say hello.

Have a great day Blue Team...let's have a great week, not too many more before the end of our challenge!!!

Hey Lisa, hope you are doing well. Thanks for the encouragement, I almost went out at lunch today, but I told myself not too - Blue would not want me to have a big hamburger full of fat. I brought my lunch, just not what I wanted to eat. I have a banana for a snack later, maybe that will fill me up more. Have a good one Blue - Lisa.

Hear Ye Hear Ye, the Weightkeeper speaks

There is a nip in the air. The Christmas carols have started. Christmas specials are on TV. The mall decorations are up. It's that time of the year to celebrate. It's also the time that many Americans put on a few pounds. Losers we need to stick together to make sure that is not us. Let's finish up this challenge with a bang. Let's triumphantly enter the holidays ready to tackle the obstacles that stand between us and our healthy lifestyle.

I am glad so many had some of Jens 'magical turkey' last week. Of our 23 weigh ins we had only 3 gains for 5.2 pounds, 5 maintains, and 15 losses for 27.9 pounds. Great job ladies!

Who really stepped up and LOST weight over the Thanksgiving holiday? Let's see. Here are the Blue Team Superstars.

Here are the disclaimers if you gained last week and lost this week I will adjust the percentages, blah, blah, blah. And sorry if I make a mistake, blah, blah, blah.

#1-The Red Team-0.770%

Congratulations Red! The score now sits at Black 5, Red 4, and Blue 2 weeks at #1. Will the Red team get #1 next week and tie Black? Will Black get #1 to pull ahead? Will Blue come from behind to claim a victory? If everyone works as a team anything is possible. Good Luck to everyone as we finish up our last two weeks of BL6.

Yes our last two weeks. This is it gang. How will you finish this thing up? I believe my records say we had 158 people commit to this at one time or another and we now have 35 left. You are part of the 22% that are still here, 78% have dropped out. Just staying to the end is an accomplishment and you should be commended for that. Let's get truly committed and get losing!!

Have a healthy day!

Congratulations Tammy. Keep those feet moving in Disney, you are doing a great job!

Hey guys, congrats to tammy!!! Way to go!

I am exhausted!!!! I was on call last night and had to stay at work till WAY late!!! Today we broke the record number of cases done in the OR. My feet are so tired and sore, and I am ready to go to bed already. I am going to watch BL from yesterday and go to bed.

Hope everyone is having a good week

Thanks everyone!!! Working hard to at least maintain this week and next while at WDW. Ate too much tonight at dinner at Whispering Canyon so will need to get some extra walking in tomorrow.

WTG everyone who is still in this challenge.

Have a great evening everyone, let's go Blue Team!!!

No loss this week for me, I maintained but I'll take it. Will be working to have a loss next week. If I don't gain while at Disney, I'll be happy.

Off to Epcot...have a great day Blue Team.
