BL Challenge Black Team Week 2

Other than my own sheer determination to stick to it, my biggest support is my fitness trainer. He doesn't help with the eating right part, other than a few suggestions here and there. But, even when I'm working out without him I can hear him in the back of my head encouraging me to "just squeeze it out two more times, you can do it!"

But, I need more accountability and a place to go for daily support. That is why I'm so excited to be part of this BL challenge.

On that note, today has been a strange day ever since I opened my eyes! I only gave maybe 60% at the gym this morning, which I consider a huge waste of time. If I'm going to bother getting there at 5:30 am, I have to give atleast 100%! Then I had a buffet lunch with a friend and was so full that it hurt, and then I had a turkey sub and fries for dinner - with a "real" pepsi!! The only good thing about today is that it's almost over and tomorrow I can start fresh, again!

I don't want to let my team down, so I will put today behind me and double my efforts tomorrow!!!
 
Hi Black Team. I am Amy, I am WISH member who has been journaling for three years now. But this is my first foray into Biggest Loser!

I lost 1.2 this week, was hoping for more but I'll take it!

experiment 626 - cool I'm from TN too!


Biked the kids to school yesterday, planned to do that today too, BUT we woke up to a nasty stomach virus. So no school for my Kindergartener. My 2 yo has been fighting a cold all week, and we are potty training. So here it is - Thursday - and I have not made it to the gym this week. I have been trying to get in exercise by biking/walking to/from school, but I miss my classes and I want a good 2 hr run. At least I know that I can get that in on Sat.

I am worried about tomorrow. With drastically cut workouts, I don't know if I will lose any weight. :headache:

When I reach my goal weight.... I will go shopping!!!! I have never spent any money on clothing, I always just buy what I absolutely have to have. So I am setting aside money each month during my weightloss so that I can go have a wonderful shopping day. I am thinking 1/3 nicer clothes, 1/3 cute running gear, 1/3 mommy uniform of jeans and t's.
 
When I reach my goal weight....I'm going to Disney World! :rotfl2: Seriously, I will be shopping for new clothes and feel good about it! The last time I went shopping for new clothes was for Mother's day and I spent about 4 hours looking for something that looked right and I felt comfortable in...what a nightmare that trip was!:scared1:

When I reach my weight goal...................I'm going on a cruise!! Actually I'm going either way but since we have it scheduled for next summer it is a great motivator to keep going!! I should reach my goal before the cruise so I'll have to maintain before and DURING the cruise!!

Ohhhh! A cruise! I love cruising. But I have 14 more months until I can even consider it. My youngest DS MUST be 4 yo. They WILL go to the kids clubs!!!
 
When I reach my goal weight...

1) Will go shopping for all new clothes!
2) Will work very hard to maintain the weight loss.
3) Keep attending WW meeting as a Lifetime member.
 
Hi Everyone! I'm new here and Brenda tells me that I'm on the Black Team!! Glad to be here! I have between 50-60 pounds to lose and I think that I now have the motivation to do it! I haven't been exercising much and that's another thing that I have to do so I'll be starting with baby steps for that. Between a very bad car accident a couple of years ago and a broken toe this past year, exercise has been put on the back burner. I'm going to start by getting back to walking everyday.

My DH and I just celebrated our 40th anniversary. We have 2 children, DD is married and DS is still looking. Both have good jobs, homes and exciting lives. I'm a retired librarian and my DH is still working at a job he loves. We're able to make 3-4 trips to WDW each year, which doesn't help with the diet, but gotta love meals in WDW!

When I reach my goal weight, I will pay to get a total makeover, style "what not to wear".
That will not happen anytime soon though, since I gained some weight back last week.
