Hi everyone!

I don't see a Week 3 thread for us yet, so I hope it's ok that I start one :) If not, then please have the moderators delete this :blush:

Anyway, I'm down 3 pounds from last week!!! :cheer2: I'm going to send Princess Vija a PM right now so she can add it to our team total.

I thought i'd post the team list in case we have some MIA -- if you see a friend who isn't posting with us, maybe you could PM them and encourage them back?!?

anyhow -- i'm trying not to be disappointed, i thought i was doing well and i'm down one pound. i know i know.....i just thought i had done more than that. but, the alternative is to do nothing and lose nothing and that would not be cool at all!!

I'm so excited this morning! Last week after gaining .2, I'm down 2.6 this week. Yaaahooo!!! :) :) I've now officially lost a little over 45 pounds so it's time to update my ticker.

Great job Seaspray and ohmom. Congratulations to both of you :cheer2:
 
I almost forgot...I got a new clippie too! I think it looks pretty darn good on me :)

I'm sure that I'll have weeks where I don't lose anything, or lose only a little, so I'm guardedly optimistic. :upsidedow lol
 
Hey blue team!!

I have some announcements for you!
1. Ending date of our challenge is Dec. 18th
2. Report WI to team captains by midnight Tuesday night
3. The captains will report to each other on Wednesday
4. The captains will report the team champions on Thursday on their weekly threads.
5. Look for weekly challenges amongst the teams coming soon

Please PM your weight loss to me in addition to posting on the team thread. It saves me a lot of time because I found myself searching through last weeks thread for some people that I thought were MIA, but had reported losses. THANKS!



We are doing total % lost since the start of the challenge. (not week to week) PLEASE try and WI and report to me by Tuesday night, we needed to put in a cut off time to get the weekly results up quickly. If you miss the cut off, PLEASE still send the PM and I will update the info so we can keep going all the way through to the 18th.

OhMOm, congrats on the 1# loss. It will happen, and who knows, next week maybe you will have a bigger loss! Keep on swimming, swimming, swimming...:fish:

Luckywife, that new clippie looks fantastic!!! :cool2: Congrats on the weight loss. You are an example to the rest of us. Even though you were up a tiny bit last time, you didn't give up, you persevered through that dissapointment, kept going and now look down 2.6 and an owner of a new clippie!!!:woohoo:

IMPORTANT!!!!

When you PM your weight loss, can you also please PM what your weight is??

So for example I would say "I lost 2.2 # so I am now at 125.


That is my dream weight btw!:cloud9:
 
Ok, my head is all a jumble right now, so many things running around!:jester:


I forgot to report my losses! So since last week I lost 4.5#. I am very excited about that! but I did a WI during the middle of the week and then I was down 5#. ACHHHH, I am actually up 1/2 a pound since sometime in the middle of the week. Now If I hadn't WI in the middle of the week I would be ecstatic with a 4.5# loss, now I am a bit bummed.:rolleyes: SOOOOOO, I am not going to WI at home until next week TUesday. that scale is off limits!

My goals this week:
1. Step on the scale in 1 week only
2. Stay within my WW points range
3. Journal EVERY DAY!
4. Exercise M-F (monday is already done!:yay: )


What are your goals this week????
 
My biggest goal is to stay off the darn scale except on Tuesdays. I have such a problem with that. I told my DH that I want him to put the scale in the car that he drives to work and only give it to me on Tuesday mornings for my weekly weigh in. I'm seriously going to try that because I don't know if my will power is strong enough to stay off of it when it's in the house with me. It's still here now so I'm going to try my hardest not to get on it the rest of the day.

Continue to drink my water
Write down everything I eat
Exercise

Good Morning Blue Team,

Well the good news is I didn't gain anything but the bad news is I didn't lose either. This is the week where I have a certain visitor coming to visit. Oh well.

I'm glad to here we are still having losses on this team and I plan to be back in that group for the next weigh in.

My goals for this week:

1. Drink 80-100 oz of water/day
2. Exercise 60 minutes/day
3. No eating after 7:30 pm
4. Check in here daily

Here's to a successful day.

I was down 1.5 pounds this week putting my total loss at 52.5 pounds. It is starting to come off slower now that it was 6-8 weeks ago. I know that is normal but when you get used to 2-3 pounds a week anything less seems like a lot less. However, I am not going to get down about it because a 1.5 pound loss is still great especially considering the week I had. I just need to stay focused and continue to do my thing.
 
Becka - I totally understand your frustration when you're used to seeing a larger loss but you still have a great attitude. This might help too...take 6 full sticks of butter and tape them to your thighs/rear - that's how much you lost this week!!:banana:
 
Good morning everyone.

I'm up .2 from last week. Hanging in at 198.8. I'm 1.8 pounds away from that shiny new 25 pound clippie. Hopefully next week I'll see it! Have a good day everyone!
 
becka: You've been doing an outstanding job! I think 1.5 is excellent, especially considering how much you've lost already! :)

Princess Vija: Thanks again for being our team captain! :cheer2: I know it's a lot of work, and I'll remember to send you my weight, in addition to the losses (and hopefully no gains! LOL) each week :)


My goals for this week:

Continue to drink plain water (spring water!) instead of adding the flavor packets. Even though the packets are decaf and no calories, I just feel better drinking it plain.

Continue to try and get some more deliberate exercise in each day. I do get quite a bit of walking exercise at work each day, but that's not non-stop like I'd get on the treadmill. Maybe the treadmill every other day, and floor exercises each day, this way I'm giving my foot and joints a day off in between. Hopefully that'll work and not aggravate my plantar fasciitis too much. :scratchin

Bring more salads/veggies back into my diet. For the first few months of doing South Beach I ate MAINLY salad/veggies, with some lean protein and healthy carbs. Now I'm eating more lean proteins and carbs, and have slacked a bit on the veggies/salads. Even my DH asked me if we could have more salads again! LOL

I guess that's about it, although I will be interested to read everyone else's goals for this week, maybe I'll see something I didn't think of yet! :)

Thanks! I know that the difference is exercise. Last week I missed 3 days of exercise due to travelling and that makes a big difference for me. In order to continue to see 2+ pound weeks I really need to exercise 6-7 times a week.

Luckywife - Congrats on the loss and if I loved your post on putting your scale in DH's car and having him drive off. That gave me a good chuckle imagining it!!

Vija - Congrats on your loss!! I know what you mean when your actual WI is less than what it was a few days before. It will go back down soon. Weight flucuates so much. At least you know you were at that number. To me, that is so motivational to see a new number. It makes me know I can do this!

Sabrina_Mouse - Hang in there. At least you didn't gain. Maintaining is better than losing!! Next week you will rock!!

jennz - Congrats on the .2. Its moving in the right direction. Hang in there!!

becka - Congrats!! I agree with Jennz- just think of those 6 sticks of butter - GONE!!

Desiree - I feel a new clippie coming next week. Hang in there, you can do it!
