Good morning everyone!

I'm up early again - so figured I might as well start this week's thread.

I'm very happy to report that I'm down 2.5 pounds from a week ago! :banana: I'm still not down to my pre-cruise weight, but I'm getting there! :)

I hope everyone has a great week :grouphug:
 
Mornin'!!:surfweb: I am sorry to say that I am only down .4 and did not quite hit my goal of 50 lbs lost by my b-day. But that's okay since we had a great weekend and we ate WAY too much. I also took two days off exercise and now am back on the wagon. The forecast for Thursday here is 47 and windy and rainy for our race. FIL says as long as its warm enough, we will run :eek:

I am so proud of my team mates! Unfortunately, I did not register a loss-again-this week. :sad2: I have been stuck in front of the computer doing reports (and this week, it will be to prepare for the next four weeks before Christmas!) but that is no excuse. Just an explanation. I'm sorry that I haven't been helping the team lately. :blush: Hats off to those with new clippies.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving. You know, even with the setbacks, we have so much to be thankful FOR!

:surfweb: good morning BLUE teammies!

been wonderin' where i've been? sorry! i think i told you all i'd be gone Thursday - Sunday on an Emmaus weekend. which was a fabulous weekend, the only downside was i had absolutely NO control on what was available to eat. there was lots of goodies!! i tried to just pick and choose what i would indulge in, passed on those white dinner rolls, etc...and actually i just checked my personal tracker and hey, i ended up losing .4 lbs this week! :woohoo: i'm surprised! another factor is i too have been laying off the workouts after my hip joint flared up again and then i was gone. but i did see my doc yesterday and i'm headed back to PT today. he said I have trochanteric bursitis, which is the tendon that connects the gluts to the inner thigh. he thinks 2-3 weeks of PT will knock it down, otherwise i get an injection. so i'm going to lay low again this week b/c i have sooooo much to do before Wed

Afternoon Blue Team Losers!!

Well, I am down 1.2 this week and only a couple pounds away from a new clippie. I would love to have it by next week, but with Thanksgiving, who knows?

I can't quite seem to sync up my on plan food weeks and my good exercise weeks. It seems the weeks I get all my exercise in, I struggle with my food intake, vice versa. I'm sure once I can get both going at the same time, I will actually be losing more consistently.;)

I'm actually going tonight to check out Curves. I've heard both good and bad things about it, but I think with where I'm at right now (severely overweight, no consistent exercise routine, and REALLY needing some time away from the kids and house a few days a week:rotfl: ), it may work for me.

my DH is calling me............to come and watch a show.......sometimes I think DVRs are a curse - we tape too much and then I just don't do other stuff !

But, I wanted to report that I didn't WI until after work - WAY TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hectic week for me - but I was down 1 lb. I will take a late in the day WI and be down a tad :thumbsup2

CONGRATS to all those who are really working the plan and getting results - Truth here is, I am eating like a maintainer not a loser :confused3

geekerbell -- i hear ya! i haven't been working out at all for over a week! it's killing me :teeth: but yet i skip it again today...tomorrow is our turkey trot and gonna save my hip for that ::yes:: yea that's the ticket

somebody's going to have to kick my butt back in the 'zone' next week!!

i'm heading out for the holiday this afternoon to mom's, but we'll try to check in. it'll be 3 very busy days with family gatherings, shopping, and a birthday celebration for my dad.

how many of us are participating in a turkey trot??

I maintained this week, :furious: I am not happy because in the middle of the week I had lost some of the weight I gained, but then went up again?:confused3 Ah well, this week my goal is to get through the week, I would like to loose some weight, but boy with the holiday it sure makes it hard doesn't it.

I was inspired by disneychrista's post in the last weeks thread. Here is my plan ladies...

On Sunday I will be celebrating my birthday... at work... yuckk! BUT I will be celebrating! Anyway, the perfect gift to give myself is the gift of health. I obviously have not been following WW at all, but am setting my sights for my birthday! One year from then my goal is to be in ONEDERLAND! So ladies please don't flame me about waiting until Sunday to get a kick in the pants. I am one that likes a special day to get started, and I will restart on Sunday. thanks for the inspiration disneychrista!:flower3:

Early Happy Birthday Vija! I here you on just wanting to make it through this week. Yes, I would love to lose some, but with the holiday, I'll be happy even with a maintain next Tuesday.

I also was inspired by disneychrista. Many of the things she said and is doing in order to lose and then maintain sit well in my mind. I also have not found I could follow a set plan for long term, and am logging food intake and calories, so I don't have to deprive myself of any particular food.

Vija, let's take the road to ONEDERLAND together and it will be easier. In a year we will be healthy hotties!:cutie:
 
We are heading up to my parents this evening and will be staying through Sunday, so I may not be checking in anymore this week. We will be taking the laptop, but my mom doesn't actually have internet access (though sometimes, if we set up the computer in the right spot in the house, we have been able to pick up someone's wireless).

thanks for the birthday wishes! I love having my birthday around Thanksgiving... the relatives never forget!:rotfl: As part of a birthday present for me, I went to see Enchanted with DD. THis movie is AMAZING! Please go and see it. It is just the best, I think I probably will see it in the theater again (which I rarely do, maybe once before seeing a movie twice in the theater), but this one was absolutley fantastic, and I read about all the hidden Disney references that I want to go back for them and search them out. AWESOME!!!

On Wednesday I also went shopping with my sister for her wedding dress. It was fun looking at all of those dresses and I am determined to wear one of the fancy dresses sometime soon. DH suggested maybe going on a cruise for our 20th anniversary in 3 years... OH YEAH... I am going to RUN with that suggestion!!! so.... I am definetely going to go all out, maybe even a vow renewal??? DH is absolutely dreamy in a tux :love: I think I love this idea! I want to get all dressy for formal night. Hmmm, lots of Disney dreaming ahead of me!:cloud9:
 
Well I did my weekly weigh in this morning and had no change. which is a good thing. With 4 week until Christmas I need to kick it in high gear. I would like to be able to give myself the gift of a single digit size jean for Christmas. I think I have about 8 pounds to loose for that to become a reality. I have not been a single size digit in pants in I can't tell you how long. Even before I had my first daughter I was a size 10 (the same I am now) but they are more like a size 6 in today's sizes.
 
Good morning all my blue loser friends, and Happy Monday!!

I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving holiday! We spent a few days with my parents and my brother and his wife were there. It was really very nice. Also, I stayed on track with food almost the entire time. I did have a splurge the evening of Thanksgiving day, but not too bad. I did some time on my mom's exercise bike to try and make up for it, and DH, myself, and SIL did a lot of walking Friday morning when we went shopping. That counts as exercise, right?:lmao:
So I should have a good weigh in tomorrow morning.

Vija - Thanks for letting us know about "Enchanted". DH isn't all that interested in seeing it, but I'm definitely taking DS6 and DS8, because I want to see it!;)
And Happy Birthday a day late!!

disneychrista - Wow! an 80 pound clippie AND your almost in a single digit size! You continue to be an inspiration to me!
