I'm sitting here watching VH1 Classic, and her new video is on. She is one well, very interesting lady.

I was roller blading in Central Park once and she nearly hit me with bike as she rode by. She wasn't paying attention because she was talking to some guy on a bike, who may have been a fan following her because she looked very uncomfortable.

But I do like some of her songs.

P.S. Did you see that movie she was in, I forgot what it was called, but she played a woman who was going blind? I was so angry at her character through the whole movie and at the end I just burst out into tears.

I think she's had some great songs and outstanding videos. Certainly a unique talent.

I think the movie you're talking about is "Dancer in the Dark" where she plays an Eastern European immigrant whose travelled to the USA. Certainly not a light movie aimed at cheering you up, but I thought it was certainly emotive and thought provoking and her acting in it fully deserved the awards she received.

I saw her a couple of years back doing furniature shopping in Harrods for her VERY soon to arrive baby, she looked ready to pop LOL. She seemed to be perfectly normal at that time, although her public persona certainly seems to be a little "out there".

I love the Sugarcubes, don't get me wrong... I have the first Sugarcubes CD out there somewhere.

Anyway, this new CD apparently has no instruments, its samplings of voices Thats what the person on VH1 Classic said.

She does have an interesting voice, and there is no one else like her.

ITA with ripleysmom. I ADORED SugarCubes, and yes, Bjork absolutely walks to the beat of her own drummer, but man, what a voice!
