Bizarre stories on CNN

I usually read the stories on CNN each morning and boy are there some bizarre ones out there today......

.....man is charged with battery on a police officer for passing gas

and

.....man has his "goods" amputated without giving cosent

just to name few

I read this story in my morning paper! My first thought was - I've GOT to post this on the DIS!

It needs a link on the fart thread!! Who knew "odorous gas" could be considered a weapon - for REAL!

Years ago, I would come home late at night from work and the only thing on tv was Jerry Springer. There was a guy on there one night who took care of amputation himself, in the tub, because his family would not recognize he wanted to be a woman. He was the dad of the family. His wife found him. I just kinda shook my head but I could not STOP myself from watching.

Some of the most bizarre things people do. But I would rather read about this stuff than the other depressing stuff going on in the world. I think it makes me feel good about myself in the "normal" category or something.
