Bitty Twins

How do they hold up? DD got Bitty Baby last year, and LOVES her, and I think she has held up really well. She really likes the twins this year, but I am hesitant because of the hair. Does the hair still look pretty good after a while of being played with??

My dd7 has the bitty twins for about 2 years now and they are holding up very well. She loves her dolls and plays with them a lot but I make sure we comb the hair now and then just so it doesn't get out of control. She takes very good care of them. She keeps them clean and only takes them outside now and then. She also has an American Girl and plays with them but the babies she plays with a lot more.

My DD6 has had them for three years.They still look great.She has played with them alot and now her little sister drags them around .We have been really careful about only using their brush that you buy from American Girl.

My middle DD (6) has had them since last Christmas and the hair is holding up fine. It can get messy but then brushes out nicely.

If you live close enough to an American Girl store they have a hair salon for the dolls where they will style it back to good for you. The ladies who were doing the hair when we took my Dniece and her cousin earlier this month said to just spray plain ol' water on the hair and comb it with the brushes sold by American Girl when doing it at home. The store sold the brushes and hair styling kits so I am guessing you can also buy them through the catalog or online. I have a boy who's 13 so we actually don't have any in our house, but Dniece and her cousin did a great job of educating me during the trip to American Girl Place in Chicago.

Thanks so much for everyones input!! I am glad everyone seems happy with them. They are so cute. I think they will probably be in our house Christmas morning!!!
