DISboards just got blocked at my school. So now I can surf the boards during my down time at school. I am a lil heated! :badpc: :furious:

Oh man! That stinks!

I don't understand what's "objectionable" about the DIS Boards. In fact, we have a filter on our computer so the kids can't surf certain sites. For some reason, the privacy service always blocks the DIS Boards if one of the kids is logged in. I have to log them out and use my own password to get authorized.

But get this: One day my youngest son was logged in under his profile so access to lots of stuff was supposed to be restricted. Without realizing I was on his profile, I used the computer to buy an airline ticket to Las Vegas. Then I tried to log in to the DIS Boards and the privacy service said it was blocked. What? The "restricted" level allows you to buy a ticket to Vegas but you can't use the DIS Boards?

Strange times people, strange times indeed!!! :confused3

It maybe because on a message boards anything can be posted and seen before a mod might see it and take it down. Where as Disney.com probably has some kind of authorization process. I don't blame you for being upset though.

That's tought, too many took advantage of it.

:yay: Mine got blocked at work, probably shouldn't be checking the Disboards there anyways, but sometimes I just can't stay away!!!

Man that school must suck! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hm, I wonder if the administrator that blocks sites actually checked it out or assumed it was some teen board to "DIS" people?
