Bit worried about the weather

We are off in 7 days time, however I'm getting concerned with everyone saying how 'cold' Florida is right now.

We are in Edinburgh and expecting heavy snow in the next few days, so I know its not going to be cold as I know it, but it is going to be T shirt and shorts weather right? I get on the plane in jeans then pack them away again till Gatwick so I will not be happy if it actually is cold!!

Reassure me please.

The weather is something we can't control, unfortunately. I was looking at the forecast yesterday and it looked ok to me- not boiling hot but certainly not cold! Whatever the weather is like, I promise you will have a fantastic time. :thumbsup2

You've prob heard this old chestnut a million times before but honestly we are sun worshipper's and we just learnt how to:-
''Don't worry about the weather''
As I say we love to sunbathe but there is SO much to do in Orlando if it's sunny/overcast/raining/storming etc etc you can always find something wonderful to do :)
We just came back from a 4 week trip and out of that we had about 7 good sunbathing days (FYI water parks are not so much fun in the cold :rotfl:) but it was the best vaca ever.
HAVE FUN! :thumbsup2

Thanks all.

Its actually our 6th Easter trip - we've had a couple of 'cooler' days but nothing too bad.

Everyone seems to be saying just how much colder it is this year which is why I was worried.

I know we'll have a fabby time anyway but if my skin gets any whiter I'll be luminous! Need some sun before I develop rickets or something!

It has been the 5th coldest winter on record and we were there during the 2nd coldest Feb EVER lol. It was chilly but friends that are there now say its lovely weather.
We go to a gym that has a sunbed so hubby still came back with a tan :lmao: I don't like sunbed so I am still lily white.

I bet Florida won't be as cold as Edinburgh... don't let it spoil your trip.

We were in Greece last year when it was 100 F at midnight....someone said 'Oh this is too hot' - does not compute with me I'm afraid!

The hotter the better.

i agree the hotter the better, it is true that u will still have a great time but i do think it is vastly better and your fun options increase when it is warm.

Hoping for good weather too - we went exactly the same time last year it was so cold for the first 3 days that I didn't make it out of jeans and a jumper. :sad2: This is why I prefer going in the summer

The weather forecast is looking good to me - any day above 20c is a good day for me though! I'm sure you will have a great trip and remember it's still Spring

Just finished talking to DD who's out there working at Epcot. Weather's lovely and warm (certainly much better than the 3 degrees and sleet we had this afternoon in Glasgow this afternoon) and she'd just bought herself a new bikini! Says they have had some rain, but just heavy for a couple of hours then sunny again. :) This time next week we'll have just arrived (hopefully). :thumbsup2

Not stopped raining all day here, now foggy and miserable & pouring it down and I have to be up for work at 3:30am, Sunday we will be over there, I don't care what the weather is, I won't have to get up at 3:30am for work for 2 weeks:goodvibes

Weather forecast for Glasgow is heavy snow for the next 2 days and there were certainly cars covered in the white stuff in the car park at school this morning. :scared1: Will keep an eye open for you Wayne when we're there ourselves. DD has booked us into the Beach Club with her Disney discount. :woohoo: Say 'Hi' to Cairistiona if you're passing the Rose and Crown. :goodvibes

Not going into Disney this trip, well we will probably get signed into MK for a day but apart from that August will be our Disney trip when we have 21 day tix, will she be still there then? We are drinking around the world evening of 19th August so tell her I will be looking for her on that evening.

NO, I am about 45 minutes from Edinburgh. Just looked out the window and it's snowing - heavily!!!! :scared1: It can only be better in Orlando. Enjoy your trip. :)

Thanks all.

No snow here yet just heavy rain since Friday.

I don't care what the weathe's like in Orlando next week - I will be wearing shorts and a T shirt!

However, we're heading to the sun on Friday, and the 1st week we are there at least looks warm and sunny!

22-29 Celsius, that's 71-84 Fahrenheit - not too shabby! :cool1:

Honestly, the way the weather has been here over the past months, even a nice zero would feel a bit cozy after these freezing temps. I really must make an effort with my appearance before this next trip just in case there is a nice Orlando guy there ....... :rotfl2:

Spring is finally here in the southeastern part of the US. Florida weather during the day should be in the high 70's to mid to low 80's during the day. The evenings can feel a bit cool but with what you are having in Scotland right now it will feel rather balmy.
