Hi guys, we booked a holiday last year to go to disney but unfortunatly a change in personal circumstances meant we had to cancel. We are now looking to plan a trip for next year in August. We are on a bit of a budget so looking to get the best possible price. I have been using Complete Orlando to price it up and its coming in at around £4500 for 2 weeks staying in a hotel on i-drive, flights, car and park tickets. I cant get anywhere near this price using the major travel agents. Is complete orlando my best bet or is there another cunning way of shaving off a few £??

Have you priced it up yourself as seperate elements, that's often cheaper than a package.

Have a look at booking all your self ie flights, car , hotel etc...
But nothing wrong with CO I have used them the last two times to book our Holidays also you can pay it with small deposits and no charge for credit cards with them...

1. Book separately. Work out how much flights cost, then hotel cost, then compare to Complete Orlando (or any other package). It'll be cheaper.

2. Ditch the car. Use the bus. $17 for 2 weeks on the I-Ride Trolley or $32 for two weeks on the Lynx bus. Easy to get around if you're staying on I-Drive. Compare this to the $14 charge each day just to park at the theme parks...

3. Think realistically about which parks you want to do. Tickets are VERY expensive.

4. Use cashback sites.

5. Set a budget, and don't book if you can't get it in for that price. Our budget is £100 per person per day ALL INCLUSIVE.

6. Fly indirect. At inconvenient times and on whichever days work out cheapest. Be prepared to shave off a day or two, or add a day or two, to get the best deal.

another thread has mentioned Kenwood Travel, try getting a quote from them.

This is good advice.

I booked through Virgin, without realising Kenwood was £1,500 cheaper.

Still waiting to see if Virgin will price match so we can upgrade :rotfl:
