Just finished my first five days on BistroMD and I'm loving it!
The food is so good and the variety is much better than I'd do shopping and cooking for myself. Even better than I do eating out...as I tend to go for the same (not so healthy) things over and over.
Had to call in and put oatmeal on my substitutions list....still don't like it and I guess I never will. There was one breakfast 'donught' that was bleck, so I tossed that after a taste and just cooked up an egg instead. I tend to lean toward low carb when dieting on my own, so am very happy when the breakfast has protein. But I've noticed that the breakfasts that don't, have a protein shake as the morning snack.
I had so much fun unpacking week two's shipment...it was like Christmas!

I live alone and it's the fact that I just haven't been cooking at all that makes this plan work so well for me. My plan is to FORCE myself to cook at least one nice meal on the weekend (lunch or dinner) and have one 'treat' meal (meaning one food item I'm craving...this weekend it was a hot dog!).
