Bistro De Paris?

Anyone eaten there recently? Good or Bad?

Wasn't RECENT. Sometime last year I think. August?
Chefs is one of our favorites, so we decided to try Bistro.
It was good, but we would eat at Chefs instead.
To us the food quality just wasn't that much better (if any noticeable difference at all) than Chef's. And Chef's is a lot less expensive.
Bistro was just more quiet and digified.
For the cost difference we will stay with Chefs. Their menu has more variety too.

Never eaten at Chefs, so can't compare, but we had dinner at Bistro de Paris in mid-February. We thought the food was great, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing.

Had eaten at Chefs de France a few years ago and it was just okay. We tried Bistro De Pairs for the first time in early February and loved it. The food and service was excellent, very relaxing atmosphere. Definitely worth the money! Can't wait to go back!

We ate there this past January and enjoyed it. Had a couple of interesting things happen there. My champagne glass was chipped, I noticed it after it was about half gone. It was immediately replaced with a fresh glass. I think that's the first time I've ever gotten a glass with a crack or chip in ti at WDW. No biggie, I wasn't even going to say anything until i was done, and then only so it wouldn't be served again. DH was afraid the chip could have happened during pouring and might be in the bottom of the glass waiting for me to drink it, so he had the server replace it while I had stepped out to take an urgent phone call.

Also had an "interesting" couple at the table next to us. They appeared to have a "business" relationship, if you catch my drift.

We ate there in December - our 8th time. Loved it. It was one of the few truly quiet and relaxing meals we had because the parks and resorts were so crowded. The food and service were wonderful. We will return in April. For us, yes, it is worth it.

Bistro has a limited menu but a much more dignified experience than Chefs below. First, you are elegantly escorted upstairs and that's a fitting beginning. I'd strongly suggest looking at the menu on http://allearsnet.com to make sure that one or more of the entrees suits you.

I had the lobster and my husband had the filet. Our server convinced us to try some drinks that turned out to be way pricey but other than that the food cost was very reasonable for what we received. The lobster was the best I've had in the World and DH's filet was cuttable with a butter knife. We also splurged on the dessert platter, which was downright cheap for the food we got, though we couldn't finish it.

The atmosphere is more like V&As than it is like Chefs (not that it's as nice as V&As, just more refined and elegant; we find Chefs to be disruptively loud at times).

BTW we were there in December 2003.
