:yay: Thinking of trying Bistro De Paris. I haven't seen much written about it and was just wondering if it is worth the money. It will just be DH and me and we are staying at BCV so I was thinking of something different. I see it is listed on the Tables of Wonderland.

Thanks in advance for your comments!!

Bistro is probably the best restaurant in Epcot. Certainly its better than the perennial favorite, Le Cellier. For a couple its a great place for a nice romantic meal in Epcot.

It has fabulous food. I remember that it offers a discount for DVC members at lunch. I think 10%.

Great for an adult couple. Wonderful food and service, great wine list.
It is a very small, intimate restaurant. Plan on taking a good three hours for your meal, no rushing here.

Hubby and I love this restaurant!

Bistro is the last meal of every trip for us and it's so great to be able to walk back to BC after, esp. with splitting a bottle of wine.

Bistro is not open for lunch - I believe you are thinking of Chef's de France, which is the cafe located on the ground floor of the building that houses Bistro.

Original poster ... Bistro is an excellent restaurant and walking back to the Beach Club after enjoying dinner there is a lovely end to the evening. :thumbsup2

1) Bistro is one of our favorites.
2) And, we patronize only five sit down eateries at WDW.
3) Bistro is nice because
. . . service is good
. . . atmosphere is very pleasant
. . . long and relaxing meal (1½ hrs is not unusual)
. . . food is classic French
. . . there are very few kids (no kid menu, and they must pay full price)
. . . very different clientèle (not on DDP)

The consensus is that Bistro is second only to Victoria and Albert's for both food and service.

Just out of curiosity, what are the other four? We're always looking for good dining venue's.

Hate to be the dissenter here, but DH and I went for our 5th anniversary, tried the degustation menu and weren't overly impressed. Some of it had to do with our waiter who barely spoke English and couldn't answer any of our questions about the menu. But in the end it was the food that failed to wow. For the price we paid for the degustation menu with wine, we should have gone to V&A's and had the regular menu there without the wine.

We ate at Jiko earlier that same week and the meal was simply amazing, couldn't find a flaw if I tried.
