Does anyone know if Bistro de Paris has a vegetarion option? The menu on allears is from '10 and there's no veg option, and there's no menu on the disney reservation page. Thanks!

Anyone? I guess I will go with Chefs de France - I see they have a couple of options.

There is a current menu under Dining on the wdwinfo home page. I don't recall a veg entree, but they do have salads, soups etc. (There may be one didn't look that hard when I was scanning it the other day)

I also don't recommend Bistro for such young children (if the children were going to accompany you).

Just be aware that there is NO children's menu. Bistro de Paris is a very elegant restaurant that is geared to adult diners, and one of the few that does not specifically cater to families. There was a recent thread discussing the pros and cons of having an age restriction for certain restaurants, and this was one of the ones mentioned.

Not meaning to start a debate, just wanted you to know that this is one restaurant that may not be as 'child friendly' as a lot of the other WDW restaurants.

Just dh and I were planning to go! My parents are coming for a few days of our trip and offered to watch the kids one night so we could have an evening to ourselves. I checked the wdwinfo on DIS though and there was no vegetarian entree, so I guess I'll stick with Chefs de France. We were hoping to avoid a lot of kids on our adult night out. Oh well.

If you're trying to avoid kids, you might want to check some of the restaurants in DTD or at the Swan/Dolphin. While kids are allowed, these places don't take the DDP, and many people don't want to pay for kids' meals OOP. Swan/Dolphin will also allow you to walk to & from Epcot if that's your desire.

Personally I think you'd have a much nicer experience at BdP...they will provide for a veggie option - just have that noted on your ADR.

Really?!

We're at Epcot that day with the kids (we're not getting park hoppers) and dh and I want to walk around Epcot afterwards while my parents watch the kids for the night. I'd really like to eat in France.

my SIL is a veggie and when I took them I told them is was a dietary need...one of the chef's actually came out table side and recommended a squash soup as an app and made a veggie risotto especially for her.

fellow vege here..
All the disney restaurants are supposed to offer you an alternative but have found this isn't always the case. You also have to not be to fussy because they will only give you one alternative. Disney is not the best places for good vege food as they seem to lack any imagination but so long as you bare that in mind its ok as what they give you is fine. Be very aware of the POR restaurant vege option its a total rip off! We found some of the best vege food in Italy at Epcot.

Any table service location should be able to accommodate most major dietary restrictions, vegetarian included. If there is nothing listed on the menus online, definitely add it to your ADR. The chefs are usually good about dealing with dietary limitations.
