I will be making our ADRs soon for our May trip. We are looking for a romantic  spot to dine at. We have gotten down to Bistro de Paris or Jiko.

Which do you think would be better for a special 10th anniversary dinner?

Ooooo... Really hard choice. IMHO both restuarants are wonderful. Are you staying at AKL? If so I'd choose Jiko. That would be less hassle in transportation. Actually whether you are staying at AKL or not - Jiko gets my "less hassle" vote. However you slice it, you have to walk into EPCOT, through the theme park crowds, to get to Bistro. For Jiko you can simply catch a cab at your resort and have it drop you off at the front door of AKL. That is really the only way I could decide. For me Jiko sounds easier and therefore more relaxing and romantic. But really, neither is a bad choice

I haven't tried Bistro yet, but DH and I LOVED Jiko this past May. I can't wait to go back. Excellent food and service!

Haven't been to Bistro in quite some time--. Nice, certainly romantic by WDW standards. Food is a bit "heavy" and I think the menu is somewhat limited. But we always do Jiko each trip, and that's where I'd want to go.

Bistro is possibly more romantic by design, although the tables are a bit close together and IMHO the food isn't quite as good.

I'd choose Jiko, although I don't think that's overly romantic.

We are actually going to be at the BCV, so getting to the Bistro wouldn't be quite as bad.

Just a heads up Bistro has a 30 day window for booking, even now with the 180 plan and it does not qualify for +10 even though I was told it did when i tried to book it.

Hope this helps

Then I would have a really hard time deciding. Both are great. I know - celebrate your anniversary twice and go to both - LOL. :wizard:

In terms of most romantic, I'd have to say Bistro. When you make the ressie, try and time it right and tell them it's your 10 yr anniversary to see if you can get a table by the window so you can watch the fireworks. We weren't right by the window, but we could still see some of them and it was pretty amazing.

We've eaten at both (Jiko in March and Bistro in July) and we prefer Bistro. I thought the service, food and atmosphere were great at Bistro. Bistro was more intimate.

I know a lot of people love Jiko, but we ate there for our first anniversary last March and service was awful. We didn't think the food was that great. I know restaurants have off nights so we'll try it again one day but not til we forget about last time.

I would try Jiko's for something different....but I do not think real romantic....probably Bistro for the romantic choice..although I think the food at Jiko's is better.

Bistro - hands down - especially if you are at the Beach Club - you can walk back hand in hand along the beach after dinner instead of waiting for buses. Go by the restuaurant a bit earlier and see if they can give you a table by the window for the fireworks. Jiko is great too but Bistro is way more romantic (and AKL transportation can leave something to be desired)

If you're looking for excellent food, you'll definitely be pleased with Jiko. But if a romantic atmosphere is what you're after, I vote for Bistro. And the food is really good at Bistro too! :)

We have eaten at both, most recently Le Bistro just this past weekend.

The food is fantastic, we don't find it at all heavy, and we think the menu has a wide variety of items.

We love Jiko and Le Bistro. Being at the beach club I would go to Le Bistro...like someone else already stated, nice to just be able to walk over and enjoy dinner and walk back. By the time you get out, EPCOT is closed, nice walk.
