Hi

I am going down to Walt Disney World with my mother, who has been down to Disney quite a few times. This time however, it is her birthday and I want to make her day really special. I have heard of one company that does birthday surprises but it is incredibly expensive. I was wondering if any one had any ideas. If you knew who to contact to have a cake delivered to the room or something Disney and a lot of fun.

Try checking with the bakeries in that area and see if they are able to deliver to the hotel that you are staying at. There might be a little delivery fee. You can also contact the hotel's bakery that you are staying at, and see what they can offer you.

Stop at City Hall or guest services to get her a birthday pin. You could make a PS for a meal and order a cake for that. Tell every castmember you see that it is her birthday. Something magical might happen!

There is actually a birthday line you can call that can tell you a few things do for her birthday (407-939-2329).

We are taking my daughter for her 4th birthday and so far I have found out the following:

If you tell your hotel that it is her birthday they will arrange something special for your arrival.

If you book a character lunch or dinner, if you call ahead you can get a cake and all of the characters will come over to sing Happy Birthday to her.

You can call Disney's florist and they can put together something for you (407-827-330[might be an 8, I can't read my own writing]5)

You can also, of course, book either a MK or Epcot fireworks birthday cruise. They decorate the boat and provide a birthday cake and other refreshments. These cruises actually go into the parks for you to watch the fireworks. This runs $220.
