So, since the birthday promotion ends in 2009, is there any reason to visit on your birthday (other than the obvious treat of spending your birthday there)? We are going the end of December 2010, and my son and son in law both have birthdays a week apart and we will probably be looking at going on both those days, but it is not certain. What does WDW "normally" do for birthdays, other than recognize it w/ a button or something?? Obviously, this will be our first trip. Is it more special for a kid than for an adult?
Just trying to plan and was disappointed that the promotion changed but understand the positive aspects of the volunteer promotion.
Thanks!
Oh, and I emailed the Dolphin/Swan resort about whether they might extend their free resort night on your birthday promotion, and got no response. This was before I found out that WDW changed their promotion for next year so I assume that the Swan will discontinue it as well, or is there a chance they will do it again????
