Birthdays at Disney?

Ok I need help !!! My daughters6 th birthday is Oct 4th and we will be at disney. What is the the best birthday surprise for her at disney? Dec 2002 we took her to the CInderella breakfast so i dont know how im gonna top that!!! How is the storybook breakfast? Any birthday sugestions?

Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary is totally awesome! We went there to celebrate my son's 11th b-day.

I think there is a pin or badge or ribbon (something?) that you can get at guest relations at the park for your daughter to wear to signify it's her birthday?

I'll be down there celebrating my 20-something birthday at the end of this month. I plan on getting myself some Princess Ears (similar to my "wedding ears" I wore recently on my Honeymoon) and being a princess for a day! (These princess ears are really for kids - so maybe your DD would like a pair too?)

Being the spoiled little princess that she is. We got her the princess ears in dec 2002 lol. I didnt know that they did the pin thing though.

It's my b-day on Oct. 4th too!!! But sadly I won't be in WDW
Also, I won't be 6 but 30 years plus 6. It's not a big deal but have you gone to the Garden Grille(sp?) in EPCOT? Go have an ice-cream social and get lots of attention because it's her b-day and I bet it won't be very crowded.

I'll be watching for more special b-day stuff. I'd love to take my dd who will be 7 on March 25 there for her birthday. You are sooooo lucky.

Its really funny she was born on 10-4 and my husband is a truck driver (10-4 good buddy lol) It cracks me up 365 days in a year and shes born on 10-4 lol. anyhoo the Ice cream social sounds good!! I really want to do this for her we have had a rough time my hubby is only 38 and has been on workers comp for 1 1/2 years lots of therapy, epidural injections and is headed for the second surgery. We have been fighting with laywers and ins companys for so long. He cant even get down and play with her or be the man of the house. My mother in law had a brain anerism before the holidays also. So its been an emotional rollercoster for her. She has been so good and patient through all of this. hopefully he will be recovered by Oct if not He will be wheelchair bound and we will still have a good time.

keep the suggestions coming i want to pack this day full of disney magic for her!!! character breafast ice cream social, dinner and anything else to make it special!!

Oh-
I didn't mention that the ice cream social is a character one. It has Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale. They are so great and do really cute stuff with the kids. On our first trip my dd was just 4 and there were no crowds at all and Mickey sat down with us and Pluto came over too and then they had a coloring contest with each other and my dd. We still have the pages Mickey colored, He drew Pluto with a stack of noses. My dd thought it was hysterical.

Just wanted to elaborate on the Garden Grill thing.

There was also a character story experience in Epcot in one of the Inovations buildings. We went and a magical bookmark comes out of a giant book and tells one of Disney's classic stories and then a surprise character pops out of the book. There's no telling who will show up. We heard the story of Sleeping Beauty and then Snow White, Mulan and Auroa came out and signed autographs and took pictures with the 15 to 20 kids there. We had the option in a package this past July. I don't know if it is still available or not but it is really fun.

Chef Mickeys is definitely alot of fun.


Make sure you get the bday button at guest services--that will truly make the day--a cast member will tell your daughter she has a phone call from goofy--if noone offers, ask a cast member. It will make her day.
