Birthday @ Whispering Canyon

I just made our ADR for whispering canyon the night of Dh's bday. I was asked if I wanted to order a cake. Anyone know what cake options they have, how much, how big they are(I don't want a bunch of leftover cake). Anyone ever celebrated a bday there in general? Do they do anything special?

I have read reports of ....

Since it was almost my son's 5th birthday we decided this was the perfect place to have a cake. You usually need to give 48 hours notice, but our waitress Kandi took care of it for us. She asked for all of the girls 12 and under to join our table and sing to Matt.

and...

The biggest hit of the evening was when our waitress came over, microphone in hand, and said that for my sister-in-law's birthday, my husband and brother-in-law had to jump on a wooden horse and gallop around the restaurant singing Happy Birthday to her. THEN, since they didn't sing loud enough, they had to repeat their act while riding around the lobby of the hotel!

and...

We were celebrating my husband's birthday, so our waiter yelled for everyone in the place to growl at him like a bear instead of singing happy birthday to him.

and... You will never know what will happen when you go, but I am sure it will be funny and not too embarassing

there's another thread out there on the cakes, maybe if you do a search. I'm celebrating Ds 12th b-day there in 2 weeks, but I didn't want a cake. If we're still hungry, we can order dessert!

We celebrated DS16's there spring break...at breakfast (!!) and it was so funny..... a bunch of CM;s came over with a large cupcake, lit the candle, sang. and then proceeded to EAT his cupcake! We were ROFL!!
