Birthday Trip

I am going to celebrate my birthday in Disney this year. Unfortunately, I found out I was going before they started the celebrate your birthday in the park for free in 2009. : ( Does anybody know any special things Disney does for people celebrating their birthday in 2008? At least Mickey and I get to share the same birthday. : )

Yeah we booked our trip before I knew about the birthday thing too. DSO is celebrating his 25th while we'll be there and I wonder if its too late to do something about our rates? Hmmm

Make sure that when you check in that you ask for a birthday button to wear. Many times a CM will see your button and extra attention may be given to you. If you have all ready made dinner/lunch/breakfast reservations I think you can call back and have them make a note about your birthday. If you haven't made ressies yet, then when you do make them be sure to tell them about your birthday. They will give you a special placemat at your seat sometimes signed by the characters and a "goody".


Not sure about all the rules for next 2009 in regards to birthdays but I thought I read that if you had all ready paid for your admission ticket on your birthday day that they would give you a $75 GC to spend in the park.
