Birthday Sticker

I don't know if it is me or the search function, but I can never seem to complete a forum search.

My group is having dinner at Goofy's kitchen the night before our day at Disneyland for our firend's DS3 birthday. We are not staying at the Disneyland hotel, though. Is it possible to get the birthday sticker/button at the hotel rather than when the gates open for Disneyland the next morning?

Not sure about this since I've never stayed onsite before. I was in Grand Californian today hanging out, (and listening to Jamie, the awesome pianist!) and a CM was talking to a couple about something and she left and brought back a button for her. (Then we sang to her which embarrassed her greatly, but that's another story...) It doesn't hurt to ask or even mention it when you check in.

Oh and a happy birthday to your friend's DD!

Are you staying at any onsite property? If so, when you check in be sure to tell them about the birthday, and they should get the button (not sticker unless they run out of them).

Or I wonder, if you told Disney Dining when making the priority seating arrangements, if they could arrange something?

And as a last ditch effort, tell the staff when you get to the restaurant (perhaps someone could go down early?) about the b'day and request a button.

Thank you for the replies. We are staying off-site. I did inform Disney Dining that we are celebrating his birthday. The three kids in the group will be getting goody bags and the birthday boy is getting a cupcake and balloons. If he doesn't get it at the dinner, I will ask at the front desk.

I see that I said it was my friends DD3, it is actually their DS3. I am the one with the daughter.

They will give it to you at Goofy's Kitchen or you can walk up to the front desk at the DL hotel. They will not ask you if you are staying there. You just say "I need a birthday button." They are always very happy to give them out!

Goofy's also has special buttons that say "I celebrates a birthday at Goofy's Kitchen" along with the reg birthday buttons.

Even if you are in the parks you can go into city hall, or into any disneyland/DCA store and they will have them. Just ask at the counter. Same goes for the first time pins etc.
