I am thinking of taking my DS to DL the week after his birthday....5 days to be exact. Should we mention we are celebrating his birthday or not? He's always wanted to celebrate his birthday in the parks but, sense it's not actually the DATE.....I'm not so sure. Just looking for more advice.

Not to high jack the thread, but where do you pick up the birthday stickers on your birthday.

Thanks

Of course he should still celebrate his birthday in the parks! It doesn't have to be the exact date. We're going in November for my mom's birthday, even though we're actually going home on her actual birthday.

And I believe you get the birthday stickers at City Hall, just inside the main gates. There's also the special phone where Goofy wishes the lucky one a Happy Birthday! :)

You get your birthday sticker in City Hall in Disneyland, or Guest Services in California Adventure.

OP- I would go to City Hall and mention it. All they can do is say no, right? Once you get the birthday sticker, you don't have to mention it again. They notice!

I got mine at the ticket counter.

The girl asked us why we were visiting, and I said, its my birthday present to myself... and I got a sticker :)

It was awesome. Everyone says happy birthday and you just feel super special on that day :) (even though my birthday wasn't for 2 more days..)

They won't say no. We did it for DS and it was not exactly his birthday either (it was within ten days or so). Wear your sticker to the tortilla factory in DCA. They will give you a bag of tortillas for your birthday (and yes, you can do this more than once). It's the only place I know of in DL or DCA to get a free snack!

Realized a few days ago that my 60th birthday will be spent in the park. My wife had mentioned we would be there at that time, but I kinda blue her off. First time I will be in the states on my birthday. Wife says we have PS at Bayou and Fantasmic. Should be an interesting trip. We have a 1200 mile drive with six people. :moped:

Have a great day
