Do you think it is OK to celebrate a birthday belated at DL. We are going to be there about 2 weeks after my DS turns 5 and was wondering if it's ok to get the sticker and such even though it is not the exact day?
Thanks

yes it is fine i have heard many ppl sya it is. I am celbrating my sons almost two months late..we will also be there on my bday. It will be fine.

Disney does not care what the date is, only that you are celebrating. That would be special for the little person.

Go for it!
My sons and I celebrate our September birthdays while we are at DL the last week of September. It is so much fun when the CM's wish your child a Happy Birthday.

Of course it's ok. My son was in the hospital and released 2 days before his birthday. We waited until he felt better and even called ahead to RFC to arrange for a celebratory lunch that fit his new special needs diet.

Go celebrate and have a great time. Happy Birthday to your son.

Yep - it's allowed and even encouraged. We got one button for DS (turns 9 in 2 weeks) and a button for my dad (birthday last week). Pretty cute to see a 65 year old man wear his button so proudly. I think he was just after the free bag of tortillas

lol some times i fill bad and wounder if its bad im gona celbrate but I dont think it will be
were gona do a micky and minni party for my son. Weere gona do the goffy one and the bucket one too. (he dosent have friedns so we wont have a big party this year.. it will just be family but some times family is all you need. for anything else he will have disney lol

Is the tortilla thing worth the time?

Yes it's perfectly fine.

If you really don't want to say an untruth or get into the story, just say "we're celebrating my child's birthday today" when asking for the button/sticker.

I did that last year the week before my birthday, and it was FINE. I got lots of well-wishes by cast members, and hearing extra "happy birthdays" isn't a bad thing!

I think it would be fine! We were at a character breakfast w/ two boys wearing bday buttons and having the characters sing to them.....then without a pause the one says "it isn't my birthday!!!" Mom wanted to die!

lol thats why ive told my son that we are celbrating his bday late at disney he said cool

It is most definitely OK! :thumbsup2

Last year we were scheduled to go to DL for my son's 3rd birthday, but we had to postpone the trip just 2 days before when DH was hospitalized. :(

We rescheduled for late September, which happens to be a matter of weeks away from ALL of our other family birthdays and anniversary. :rotfl:

So we scheduled a day and Goofy's Kitchen meal to celebrate DS6's birthday, which had actually been 4 weeks before, and a separate day and Lilo & Stitch breakfast to celebrate DS3's birthday (which had been 4+ months before.) That way each boy had his special day, and the CMs were great!

At first I felt silly about DS3's birthday celebration and was overexplaining to people about our missed trip, but they really don't care! They just want to see you enjoying yourself. :goodvibes

This year we'll be going during my birthday, which I normally don't get too excited over. :rolleyes1

However, I fully intend to wear a birthday button and enjoy a fabulous Disney birthday! :yay:
